The Colorado Buffaloes will begin their Big 12 campaign at Folsom Field this week. Colorado will host the North Dakota State Bison on Thursday during the season opener, and fans are more stoked than ever. As CU’s defense was not up to the mark last season, Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes have beefed up their whole defense under the new defensive coordinator, Robert Livingston.

Deion Sanders’ beefed-up squad will make its grand entry into their first season back in the Big 12 Conference with the Heisman trophy candidates Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter leading the pack. The Buffs are also getting a serious boost this season with defensive lineman BJ Green II, wide receiver Will Sheppard, running back Dallan Hayden, and other fresh faces stepping up. As the team prepares for the Thursday game at Folsom Field, here’s a look at the Buffs’ home game schedule for the season.

It’s going to be an exciting season for the Buffs

Colorado Buffaloes against North Dakota State Bisons

The Buffs will face the nine-time NCAA Division I FCS national champion NDSU for the starting home game at Folsom Field. Although it’s not a straightforward game for the Buffs, they are expected to give the Bisons a run for their money and the ball. Even Bison offensive line coach Dan Larson thinks, “it super challenging,” as he prepares ahead of Week 1 at Colorado. Colorado offensive coach Pat Murmur, too, believes so. “They (NDSU) are a tough team with a rich, winning tradition,” Shurmur told local media. As both the teams vie for victory, it’s needless to say that fans will win with an exhilarating game.
