One month into Boulder, Deion Sanders’ latest commit Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. is already stealing the show. No, he is yet to steal the spotlight on gridiron, but he is definitely hogging the limelight on social media. The North Shore transfer, the WR’s latest Instagram story, oozes luxury.
After all, he has posted some snaps of his $183,000 beast, a Mercedes Benz G-63. Farrakhan Jr. is spending some me-time before he has to take up some crucial responsibilities on his shoulders. Him being a blue-chip receiver, results in Coach Prime blindly jumping on his bandwagon. However, the race to land Farrakhan Jr. was not easy for Deion.

In the story, the WR has shared a snap of the driving wheel with the famous three-pointed star. It’s a thrilling experience altogether. At the heart of the $183,000 beast is the legendary 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine. Not only this, but it comes with 430 kW (585 hp) and 850 Nm of torque, which makes the car no less than a beast. While Farrakhan Jr. basks in glory, it’s an equally proud moment for Deion to gain the WR’s trust by beating the rivals.
Buffs beat out heavyweights for Farrakhan Jr.’s commitment
When Farrakhan Jr. took a visit to Boulder on the weekend of June 21, his decision was yet to be made. Over the last two seasons, he brilliantly turned 84 receptions into 1,339 yards and there came 19 touchdowns. This was enough for programs to swarm around him. But who cares? It was ultimately Deion’s Colorado that landed him beating Nebraska, Alabama, Texas A&M along with a bunch of other heavyweight programs.

But what did work in Buffs’ favor to snag Farrakhan Jr.’s commitment? The ‘feel-at-home’ factor. The WR himself revealed, “Them treating me like family. Everything was so real down there. I’m big on relationships. Ever since I got the offer from Colorado they were always checking on me making sure I’m good outside of football.”
Coach Prime too couldn’t keep his calm on Farrakhan Jr.’s commitment as he tweeted, “I heard we got a “X” factor !!! Wow “WE COMING BABY.”” With a strong group coming in with Farrakhan Jr., another June commit- offensive lineman Chauncey Gooden along with a bunch of 3-star recruits, Deion Sanders is on cloud nine.
