Tennessee Volunteers
The Volunteers are on roasting, on the fire this season which is backed by a strong attacking force and a good defense. What they’ve had in terms of their performance is an excellent quarterback position, as well as a formidable running game. Tennessee has been proven to be a reliable team that can perform well in the games that are very important and they can stand the pressure. Given a couple more victories they could become a contender for the playoffs position. The Volunteers are controlling the game with a very effective offense and a defense which is only allowing 19. 4 points per game.
What’s your perspective on:
Can Tennessee's recent surge make them serious contenders for the national championship this season?

Miami Hurricanes
Miami is showing good signs of coming back again, especially with the new regime in place. The Hurricanes have an aggressive side when it comes to the offense, and are as hard-grabbing as they get on the defense. In their recent games, they have been great and the tenacity they have shown when facing different challenges is quite observable. Miami’s core has benefited from adding new signings and a new outlook that may very well propel them to greater things this season. Hurricanes have also prescribed a balanced offense that has proved efficient with 34.5 points per game and a defense giving up just 20.3 points per game.
Louisville Cardinals
This had been one of the most obvious developments that Louisville has offered this season, they play a balanced offense that is rather difficult to shut down. Their QB is inspiring his offense while the defense is managing to conjure up timely stands. The Cardinals have been very disciplined and have withstood key losses, and therefore, the team is expected to keep on rising. The Cardinals are doing well all around with a superb 5-0 rating and an offense scoring of 38. 4 points per game.
UCF Knights
UCF has been soaring high this season with a leap of flaming plays and an impressive display of overall performance. The Knights’ offense is also very aggressive which more or less makes it a very hard nut to crack by any team. It has also emerged that UCF has recruited well, and they have been able to plan well for their games making them a force to be reckoned with in the college football leagues. UCF’s explosive offense leads the pack as it racks 42.2 points per game and a defense allows only 21.1 points per game.

Syracuse Orange
Syracuse is not one to be underestimated, given the team’s performance, which improved this season. The Orange have improved a lot and are not pushovers in the games as it is seen. Their capability to upset much larger programs and get key knockouts has placed them on RGIII’s list of rising teams. Syracuse has emerged way beyond people’s expectations with a 4-1 record and their defense has not been disappointing, holding opponents to 18.8 points per game.
