Winning against an undefeated team is even more difficult than staying undefeated in CFB. A group that needs just one more point to win will go on a team that has never lost before on Saturday. Yes, Ryan Day’s Buckeyes will take on Penn State. The game will be really complex. No doubt! However, OSU’s quarterback appears to be emotional ahead of the game versus Penn State. As you know, quarterbacks are the game’s leader. Will it, therefore, have an impact on OSU today?
When asked about the repercussions of Will’s emotion to prove himself in front of Penn State in a recent ESPN video, Harry Douglas said, “I’m hoping that Will Howard checks his emotions today. It’s nothing wrong with being emotional and having those raw emotions come out when you play. But I think from a quarterback position in which you touch the football on every single down, you have to be able to control those emotions.”
Moreover, he stated, “When you get to the line of scrimmage, you don’t want to be so erratic that you forget to make the right checks and get an offense from one play to the next play. Also, you got to be a ball distributor. So you have to be able to distribute the football to all the lethal, lethal weapons that you have amongst your offense and keep your head on intact, in my opinion.“

But what was Will trying to prove, and why? Well, despite Howard’s persistent desire to play at Penn State, he was rejected because he was considered ” not good enough.” Now, when Ohio State plays Penn State, he has an opportunity to disprove the skeptics. “I’m stoked. I cannot wait, ” said Howard.

Safe to say, despite being rated as a 3-star talent by most recruitment services, Howard signed with Kansas State because the Nittany Lions never extended a scholarship offer to him. Really unfortunate! However, after spending 4 seasons at Kansas, for his final year of college eligibility, Howard went to Ohio State. And he has gotten off to a fantastic start by leading his team to a 6-1 record.
On top of this, in the 21–17 victory over Nebraska, Howard had a strong game, throwing for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns. He has also completed 74.0% of his throws for 1,795 yards and 7 touchdowns this season. Therefore, it is anticipated that he will show some incredible moves today against Penn State.
