Did the hostile Nebraska crowd rattle Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, or did it fuel their fire?

Coach Prime is dealing with a big “red” headache as his team faces the Huskers! But right now, it’s his sons feeling the heat firsthand as the pressure of this rivalry match builds for the Sanders clan.

Well, the rivalry between the Colorado Buffs and Nebraska goes back ages, so it’s no surprise that the Buffs got a less-than-warm welcome on their enemy’s home turf. With today’s game set in Lincoln’s Memorial Stadium, a massive crowd of 90,000 fans is expected. And let’s be real—most of that crowd will be dressed in red. If you spot a Buffs fan in that, congratulations, you found a needle in a haystack. And the atmosphere is anything but friendly.

To start, many Nebraska fans chanted “Shilo’s broke” during warmups. Well, what they meant may be quite uncertain. Coach Prime’s safety son Shilo, recently grabbed headlines by declaring himself ‘broke’ to dodge hefty fines in a bankruptcy case. Or it could refer to the reports that Shilo has a ‘broken’ forearm and might miss the game further. Whatever “broke” they meant, it wasn’t anything nice.

But the Huskers’ fans didn’t stop there. They also chanted “F–k CU” while Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders was warming up ahead of the game. It seems Coach Prime’s sons are taking the brunt of the hostile crowd today more than any. However, Shilo might have dodged more boos since he left the game early in the first quarter, but Shedeur is still standing strong, ready to give fans a game to remember.

While the stadium is a sea of red, the online battlefield remains open for black and gold fans to show their support.

From the moment Coach Prime’s team stepped into the stadium, they were met with loud boos from the Nebraska fans. But while the noise filled the stands, Buffs fans began taking over the internet, rallying support for Colorado to secure their second win of the season. Well, Nebraska hasn’t beaten the Buffs since 2010, and after roughly 5,000 days, Husker fans are desperate for a victory, fueling their wild chants.

However, Colorado alum and college football expert Matt McChesney isn’t worried about the boos. “It’s pretty much the same team they had last year,” he says, downplaying Nebraska’s efforts. And if you’re thinking their new 5-star QB Dylan Raiola is a threat, McChesney has something to say about that too. He sarcastically remarks, “Except for a rookie quarterback going up against the best quarterback in the country,” there isn’t much else to worry about.

Nebraska’s Raiola made only two touchdowns in his debut game, while Shedeur Sanders of the Buffs put up four. While the score could still change, both QBs are sure to put on a great show for the fans. Right now, though, Coach Prime’s team is trailing in the third quarter with a score of 3-28.
