Less than a month ago, in that epic game between the Colorado Buffaloes and the Baylor Bears, Shelomi Sanders came dressed to impress. Impress her father, that is. She wore a t-shirt that featured Deion Sanders’ Kids Power Rankings, with “Shelomi” on No. 1. And it’s safe to say Coach Prime was impressed (but not in agreement). Fast forward to last Sunday, and Pilar Sanders may not have been as transparent when it came to her rankings.
Sitting in the stands at Folsom Field on Saturday, Pilar shared a video during the team introductions. Apart from the buffalo that paraded the field following the Kansas State Wildcats introduction, it was Pilar’s outfit that caught fans’ attention. That’s not to say it was anything out of the ordinary. In fact, it was what most fans would wear to a Buffs game.
Sporting a Buffs jersey jacket paired with a Nike beanie, the mother of three fit right in. But Buffs fans, being Buffs fans, how could they just let go without bringing up her sons? Shilo Sanders, the safety, or Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback? One of them asked, “P you got 21 and 2 on? 🤣😂👌💯” Had this been any of the three previous games, the answer would’ve been rather simple.

That’s because in their Week 2, 28-10 loss to Nebraska, Shilo Sanders underwent surgery to repair a right forearm injury he sustained in the first quarter. Subsequently missing the next three games, the only Sanders sibling on the field had been Shedeur. So, presumably, Pilar Sanders’ answer would’ve been straightforward. But on Saturday, as the Buffaloes registered their second loss of the season (31-28), the safety made his return.
So, to answer the fan’s question, the actress skillfully dodged the question and replied, “You already know! 😂❤️” Well, we may not be sure if she sported Shedeur’s No. 2 or Shilo’s No. 1. But since it was her elder son’s first game back, could she have been showing Shilo even more support? After all, she was there beside Shilo as the Buffs’ safety underwent surgery last month and even went to great lengths for his recovery by shifting her professional base. Or maybe, she emulated Donna Kelce?

Remember when the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII? With Jason Kelce on the Eagles and Travis on the Chiefs, Donna got a customized jersey made, one half of which was her repping Jason in green and the other repping Travis in red. If Pilar Sanders did, in fact, do what Mama Kelce did, at least she wouldn’t have had to merge two different jerseys, seeing as both her sons play for the Buffaloes. Maybe she had both their numbers on the jersey.

That said, while Pilar seemed her usual, jubilant self a day after Colorado’s loss, the same couldn’t be said about her ex-husband. Earlier this week, Deion Sanders shared, “Shilo’s ready. He’s practicing. He’s full go… I can’t wait to see him back there.” However, it’s safe to say the 24-year-old didn’t have the best outing, as the Buffs struggled defensively.
The Wildcats became the first team to amass over 200 rushing yards against Colorado this season, as some of Shilo’s missteps were contributors to that stat. Addressing the safety’s performance after the game, Coach Prime said, “I thought he played horrible. I thought he was rusty.” As for Shedeur, he seemed to have a good game, with 34-of-40 pass completions, throwing for 388 yards, 3 touchdowns, and only 1 interception.

As the Buffaloes look to regroup and come back stronger against the Arizona Wildcats this weekend, Pilar Sanders found the perfect way to hype the team up!
Pilar Sanders relived an epic Buffs victory
Well, when the Buffs QB was thrown under the bus for faltering against Nebraska Cornhuskers, Pilar did not lose hope. Instead, she kept on believing in her son. And guess what? Shedeur came back stronger and made his mom even more proud with his Hail Mary pass against the Baylor Bears with just a couple of seconds left on the clock. But as their game against Kansas State left Colorado with a 4-2 record, Pilar recalled that overtime extravaganza against Baylor.

She posted a highlight reel from Shedeur’s game from two weeks ago, where the Buffs ended the night with a 38-31 win. “One of the most Epic games of this season thus far! It was a Cold, Dark, Rainy Night… at the last of 2 seconds my son [Shedeur] threw a Hail Mary… caught by [LaJohntay Wester] in the end zone! we went into Overtime……… We WON!!!!” she captioned the post.
And as expected she was reminded that it’s too late for Shedeur to be in the limelight. To which the proud mother retaliated, “Celebrations are never too late, especially when it’s #LEGENDARY.” Thus, with two sons and one heart, Pilar Sanders knows best how to keep it balanced.
