Does all good things have to come to an end? Probably this one question is looming in the hearts of the Colorado Buffaloes fans. Even though they are excited about the final Alamo Bowl matchup with BYU, there is a lot of sadness plaguing the feeling. That’s obviously because this marks the last chapter of Sanders siblings Shedeur and Shilo in Boulder. But their mother Pilar does not want to dampen this proud moment. With this, Deion Sanders’ ex-wife Pilar Sanders comes up with a sweet message for her sons on social media.

You know how protective Pilar is about her three kids—Shedeur, Shilo, and Shelomi. After all, the mother played an important role in helping her kids reach where they are today. Remember when Shilo got his finger operated on? She was even ready to shift her base to Boulder from Alabama, where she was to be with her daughter Shelomi. That’s how mothers are. So, now that her sons will be stepping into an important chapter of their lives, how could the mother just stay silent?

On Christmas Eve, Pilar posted an IG reel that captured some of the best moments with her children. The caption read, “💕💕💕💕💕 LOVE AND LIFE 💕💕💕💕💕.” The proud mother thought that the three-word message might not be enough to convey what she might be feeling at the moment. So, for the IG reel, she added a song by Malcolm Todd, Chest Pain (I Love). Well, we get it. Pilar is a bit protective of Shilo and Shedeur. But guess what? It’s not only her.

The Colorado Buffaloes football program is going to great lengths to keep Shedeur away from any injury. So much so that they even secured a record insurance coverage for the Buffs QB. Even though we did not get to know the amount, the Buffs AD Rick George had some message. This time, apart from Shedeur, it’s their dual-threat Travis Hunter who will be covered. “It was his idea we should get disability insurance for our athletes for this game to ensure that they played and if there was some kind of injury that they would be well taken care of. So, we worked together on that.”

Yes, Pilar’s QB son would not have to worry about injuries anymore. But still, the Sanders duo’s one wish remained unfulfilled.

In the first week of December, the Colorado Buffaloes arranged something special for Shedeur and Shilo. It was their home game finale. Before their touching goodbye to the field, the Sanders trio—father Deion and his sons—were present at the field. The Buffs HC was there to walk his sons to the end of the field, an indeed historic and touching moment. But before the walk, Shilo revealed their secret plan.

The Buffs safety confessed, “My brother [Shedeur] just got my mom from the stands cause of the senior day and we didn’t know we had to walk. They’re not gonna. That’s like World War III trying to get them to walk together.” Well, we know that Pilar and Deion got divorced in 2013. Before the siblings got too busy in the NFL, it was their last chance to have a sweet family moment.

However, Deion Sanders had no clue about Pilar’s presence in the field. So, he was all carefree, soaking in the proud moment and walking with his sons. But as they approached the end of the field, he could spot Pilar standing, cheering for her sons. And what the Buffs HC do next?
