It is time. For Deion Sanders and the Buffs, Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders have been nothing but the most important players on the roster. While Shilo did have somewhat of a shaky season, Shedeur has been explosive since day one. He already has managed to snag in 30 touchdowns and over 3400+ yards, and they still have the Oklahoma St. game left on their schedule. The thing is, though, the run with the Buffaloes ends here for Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders. With the NFL draft right around the corner and the senior day celebration in full swing at Colorado, it is time we prepare our goodbyes.

Back in Colorado, Coach Prime’s ex-wife took to her Instagram account to share a clip of herself from the senior day celebration. But here is the thing: while she is happy for Shedeur and Shilo, there is also a part of her missing her other child. “Ma Boys @shilosanders @shedeursanders. I love my babies so much,” Pilar wrote in the caption. However, there is another thing she wrote that stands out. “Missing u babygirl @shelomisanders,” Pilar had mentioned.

We don’t talk enough about Shelomi Sanders. For Deion, the best parenting result is when his kids follow his path and stick with him on the same team. Shedeur and Shilo both left Jackson State after Deion got the Colorado coaching job, and they have been by him since.

Shelomi, on the other hand, has always wanted to do something more. Her hitting the transfer portal and switching from Buffs to Alabama was not something Deion took lightly. He called the move stupid, but you know who did stick around for Shelomi? Pilar Sanders

Pilar has been nothing but supportive of Shelomi’s decision, and we can frequently spot her sharing her daughter’s practice videos and updates on her YouTube or Instagram accounts. And if we point the mic toward Shelomi and ask her who her favorite parent is, she will pick Pilar. For Deion Sanders? Well, Shelomi is still trying to walk away from all that ‘Prime Time’ drama and mark her name.

Shelomi Sanders’ attempt at independence

Let’s roll back in time. See, Shelomi left Buffs not because it wasn’t a bad team or something. Back during an interview, she made it clear that staying with the Buffs just didn’t look like a good option for her basketball career.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Deion Sanders' legacy at risk with Shelomi Sanders choosing her own path away from the family?

Have an interesting take?

She was in, like, what? 5 games, maybe while playing for the Buffs basketball team. Now that she is in Alabama, she can finally stretch. While we have yet to see her on the court, from what we heard from A&M basketball coach Dawn Thornton, it is pretty clear that Shelomi is showing a lot of progress.

“Shelomi is just what we need,” Thornton had mentioned. Shelomi was amazing when he asked to make big plays from behind the arc, and if that wasn’t enough, despite being a guard, she nails scoring with ease as well. Maybe next time we’re gonna see the whole family together.
