Travis Hunter is still awaiting his NFL home after a heart-wrenching Colorado farewell and a tragic Bowl loss. The epic two-way star has had a lot on his plate this season. From bringing the coveted Heisman trophy home after three decades to leading the Buffs to a compelling postseason, Hunter did full justice to his Coach Prime’s favorite boy tag. It’s beyond debate a win over the BYU Cougars would have written the end of a fairytale stint on a perfect note, but never mind. A loss is too petty to wreak havoc on his statement season stats. But when it comes to an off-field controversy, the ever-fighter QB phenom seemed to take a drop.

Travis Hunter and his beau, Leanna Lenee, have undergone a tumultuous time in their lives, receiving nasty backlashes from all across social media. But no worries, the lovebirds are back on their branches.

Hunter has been the epitome of grace, love, and supremacy in his era in Boulder. Fans’ hearts skip a beat whenever the 21-year-old steps onto the gridiron and forges a touchdown. But as they say, with fame comes non-stop public scrutiny, sometimes unwanted and unauthorized. Hunter unfortunately landed on the bad side of the stardom, and his girlfriend had to bear the consequences.

The couple met each other and initiated their courtship when they were teenagers. The internet can’t see the strong roots of their relationship and how much they have come together, hand in hand, beating all the odds. All they could see were some insignificant videos and gestures and judged all the way to tag them as a misfit. From calling Lenne a gold digger to attaching her to another man, the internet played the lady nasty. The trouble led the couple to delete their social media handles. However, the good news is they are not sleeping on their marriage plan, putting aside the catastrophe.

Coach Prime’s personal assistant, TY Stewart, revealed the wedding bell of the Colorado poster boy was ringing. During a recent interview, Coach Prime’s confidant divulged, ”We are planning the wedding which is coming up very soon. Travis is kind of like whatever she wants, I want, but then he will come in and say no, I want this and say he wanted a bounce house; you all won’t believe the little stuff that he wants, but he’s such a kid at heart. They are such great people, y’all. I’ve been at their house with them, and I have a trip coming up with his fiancee. We are going to do our final walk through the venue. They are just really good people.”

To look back at their controversial days, everyone went gaga over a video from Hunter’s last game in Colorado. He went to embrace his fiancee after the game, and she somehow seemed to pull away from him kissing her. There might be some mutual discussion between them, or there must be some other angle to the situation. But people half saw it and brutally judged Lenne for her behavior.

Hunter and his girl literally ran down of their energy, talking all those craps. Hunter tried to clear the air noting,  “Y’all hate on my girl, then you go hate on my girl, I feel the same thing that she feels. We’re inseparable. We’re with each other. If she’s hurting, I’m hurting [and vice versa]… ”

The internet paid zero heed to his voice and kept on dragging Lenne into the mud. A perplexing Hunter pulled the rug on his social media presence, followed by his girlfriend. Deion Sanders, however, asked him not to.

The couple was set to tie the knot in 2025 and made a lot of content about that on their YouTube channel. But the controversy got the better of them and steered away the attention of the marriage a bit. Coach Deion Sanders has seen it all but never said anything directly to his best boy, at least not publically.

In a recent appearance on the Tamron Hall show, Coach Prime was asked to give one advice to his favorite two-way star about his decision to flee from social media and all the controversy surrounding him. The visionary coach took a pause and said, “Don’t stop.”

Sanders himself is widely known for his never-give-up mentality both on and off the field. He controlled his players with love, affection, and sometimes with a bit of rap on, all for their highest good. At the same time, in front of the media, the veteran head coach never shies away from speaking his mouth, no matter how harsh it sounds. He garnered a lot of hate for his straightforward, no-nonsense attitude. But he couldn’t care less. Deion wants the same from his boys.

Hunter’s recent social media incident is no exception. The Colorado HC asked Hunter not to let the haters win. They all lurk behind him, waiting for him to give up and allow them room to make chaos. He would not be wise to get into that trap.

It seemed Hunter listened to the passive advice of his father figure and chose to revitalize the wedding preparation in full swing.
