And guess what just got more intense? Colorado Buffaloes HC Deion Sanders and the NFL’s chances to fish him! While Coach Prime has yet to make his final decision, it looks like eldest son Deion Sanders Jr. aka Bucky is already having a cold sweat. Now the “last chance” narrative is applied to him as well. If Deion is the heart of the program, then Jr. occupies a large part of it. After all, the Buffs program and the Well Off brand have been Bucky’s brainchild. That man’s life only revolves around the program. And his commitment to protect the Buffs has been so serious, that it even left a former NFL MVP to take a stand for Jr.
Now think about it, his lil bro Shedeur Sanders already has a confirmed NFL ticket, right? After gifting a fabulous performance this season, the Las Vegas Raiders have reportedly laid out a red carpet for the Buffs QB. To elaborate, going by the hush-hush, the $11 billion NFL giant Dallas Cowboys are said to have offered a “package deal” for the father-son duo. Additionally, rumors have also suggested the Dallas Cowboys potentially bringing the 57-year-old onboard in 2025. Plus, now that their dual-threat Travis Hunter too is NFL-bound, Deion might slip to the NFL. That’s why Jr. is looking for some closure as he lands in a tough spot.
After all, his paycheck depends on the Buffs. So in an interview with Matt McChesney on the Zero 2 Sixty podcast, Jr shared, “Bro I asked him. Because I want to know to renew my lease or not. Like what’s your plans?”

Seems like, in case Deion calls it quits with Colorado, there is no way that Jr. is going to continue with his role in Boulder. So a hearty conversation was the need of the hour. And Bucky did it as planned and got the answer he had been looking for, “He’s like no he wants to stay in Colorado. He loves being here so and that’s just me and him talking one-on-one.”
However, even if Coach Prime stays, there’s no way the other members of the Sanders brotherhood can, which led McChesney to drop a joke: “You’re gonna have to get a private plane you’re all over the damn country trying to cover everybody.” In response, Bucky sounded extremely ambitious as he quipped, “One day I’ll get a private plan but yeah no yeah we’ll have to fly back and forth.” But he also confirmed, once and for all, that the Buffs is going to be his home. “But no. I definitely got to continue doing the Colorado stuff.” Doesn’t that speak enough of Jr.’s commitment to the Buffs?
Truth be told, this is not the first time, the rumors have been shut down. Amid Coach Prime’s name emerging as the hot favorite in the betting circle, as per sports betting company Bovada, the Buffs HC didn’t take long to give his answer—as did Jerry Jones.
“I’m happy where I am…I’m good. I’ve got a kickstand down. You know what a kickstand is? A lot of people in here not of age, don’t now what a kickstand is. That means I’m resting. I’m good. I’m happy. I’m excited. I’m enthusiastic about where I am. I love it here, I truly do,” Deion Sanders had said earlier this week.
What’s your perspective on:
Will Deion Sanders' loyalty to Colorado withstand the NFL's tempting offers, or is a move inevitable?

As for the Cowboys GM, he’d definitely love for Sanders to join his arsenal, but then again he also thinks the Coach Prime is better suited for something else…“One of his greatest skills, that he really brings to college, is that he almost has no peer as far as being a recruiter. Kids want to come play for him. And he has a way of selling that. That is one skill, that recruiting skill, that is not a huge prerequisite for NFL coaches…All of that would go into your mind. But make no mistake about it, he’s one of the top people, young and old, that I’ve been around in the NFL,” the 82-year-old said to The Athletic‘s Jon Machota.
But enough on that, as…

A legendary ally joins the fray as Deion Sanders Jr. gets into a scuffle
Yes, we know how things are already heated up in Boulder. Even though Deion is super sure about himself continuing with the black and gold army, every other day there is one or the other team that is trying to lure him away. Maybe this uncertainty was getting too much on Jr. So much so that on November 9, during the Colorado Buffaloes vs Texas Tech game, the Well Off Media tycoon got into a heated argument with a Tech b–l boy. So what was the hoopla all about?
There came a time when Jr.’s brother Shilo celebrated in the end zone when the b–l boy came and tried to grab the b–l from him. This was enough for Bucky to lose his cool. He went to directly confront the boy and was spotted physically shoving him while yelling at him. From the bystanders’ accounts, Jr. is said to have cursed the young chap. That’s how protective he is about Colorado. While this incident revealed a totally new side of him., a high-profile star was in Jr.’s camp.

It was none other than the former Carolina Panthers QB and the man known for his salty remarks, Cam Newton. After the incident, the legend made a tweet taking Bucky’s side as it read, “You know who the trash is. That little poor b–l boy. … You doing some goofy s– -t, you gonna get clowned on.” Well, we must admit that Deion Sanders Jr. is one lucky man to find himself in Newton’s list of favorites.
