Right now, there is no bigger dilemma than Texas Longhorns HC Steve Sarkisian choosing between his QBs. Fate played an ugly role leaving Ewers injured. Thus, Sarkisian had no other option than to make the tough call of putting Manning as the starting QB.
Here CFB analyst David Pollack dropped in with the much-needed clarity on the big QB debate. But no matter what decision Sarkisian comes up with, the CFB fans are only going to be rooting for THE ONE who is now hailed to be bettors’ dream investment.

They say that a team with two quarterbacks has no quarterbacks. And guess what? Sarkisian’s Longhorns are proving this wrong. With both Ewers and Manning at the helm, they are capable in their own ways. That’s the clarity that Pollack helped the fans to reach. On October 2, the analyst dropped a banger, “I don’t think there’s a quarterback controversy.” But what makes the injured QB so special, “I think if Quinn Ewers gets back, he is the guy.” That’s because the QB has been dragged through the toughest challenges and has learned from them, enough for Pollack to claim, “I can trust him.”

He then pans the focus towards the youngest member of the Manning legacy. While fans expected Pollack to be not that confident like Ewers, he came with a big surprise, “Arch Manning. I will say this right now. That dude’s deep ball is ridiculous. It is on point.”

Not just this, according to the analyst, Manning has “got a little more athletic ability than Quinn.” His USP is his quick throws and his ease at a deep ball down the field. Meanwhile, the fans seemed to have turned dead ears and had already made up their minds.

It’s evident that HC Sarkisian laned in a great soup as he stated while commenting on the Matthew Sluka hoopla, “I don’t know all the specifics of exactly what happened there and I’m not going to pretend to. I’ve got enough stuff on my plate that I got to deal with.” Down with oblique strain Ewers was out for some time while Manning filled in the gap. And the 19-year-old came off with flying colors.

While without Ewers, the Longhorns faced the UL Munroe; it was Eli Manning’s nephew who as a starter finished 15-of-29 for 258 yards and came with two touchdowns. Till now it was okay. But as per the recent updates, the injured QB is expected to return as he got first-team reps during the practice on October 1, Tuesday. But what about the fans? As soon as the news dropped the Arch Manning’s fans got all upset. One of them targeted the Longhorns HC, “Sark has lost the locker room.” Another one came with a clarity that “Ewers is starting to bring his draft stock back up. He’s not starting because he’s better than Arch. Fans don’t realize that the real goal is to get drafted in the NFL. Arch has already shown that he’s a 1st round pick.”
However, Manning hardly cares about what decision Sarkisian takes as he is now working on his talents since he already has the opening odds of +1600 in the Heisman race. Now let’s wait and watch who is going to hold the Longhorns reins during their Red-River rivalry showdown against Oklahoma.
