Carson Beck is leaving Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs! The 2024 season was a wild ride filled with twists and turns for the quarterback. Smart has backed Beck throughout the season and how. But he had to take the big step for him some day now; just five days after undergoing season-ending elbow surgery, he has officially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft.
In his heartfelt post, Carson shared on Instagram and said, “First off, I want to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to play the game I love. Through the ups and downs, the highs and lows, and everything this game provides, I’m eternally grateful.” He went on to express his gratitude for his family and coaches, highlighting how they’ve always supported him through thick and thin.
His girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder, was quick to show her support with a simple but powerful comment: “Proud of you ❤️.” It’s clear she’s been in his corner throughout this journey. Cavinder entered Beck’s life in the summer and since then the couple has been in the headlines.

Carson’s mom, Tracy Beck, also shared her pride in her son. She commented, “Love you and beyond proud! I will always be your biggest cheerleader! ❤️🥰🙏” She even reposted Carson’s announcement on her Instagram story, writing, “Love you!!! Beyond proud of you… always trust in God and the plan he has for you! ❤️❤️🙏🙏” Not just that one more important lady in Beck’s life showered love on him.
His sister Kyle joined his girlfriend and mom and commented, “Proud of you!!!” Well, he has definitely made the entire family proud. His journey with the Bulldogs was for five years. And as he said, it was a living dream he lived. We are sure, Beck, the memories you lived here are going to hit you hard.
Unfortunately, he will not start for the Bulldogs from now on, but the young lad has left a lasting impression. Beck passed for more than 3,900 yards and threw more than 20 touchdowns last year. Sadly, this season was not his best, as he finished with 28 touchdowns but also 12 interceptions. Moving forward, let’s discuss where he will take his talent too.
Where is Carson Beck landing?

See, Carson Beck has become one of the most intriguing prospects heading into the 2025 NFL Draft. He could go anywhere from the first to the third round, and opinions are all over the place. According to Bleacher Report, an AFC West executive sees him as an end-of-first-round QB, while an NFC East executive thinks he might slide to the third round. So, where will he land? Let’s dive into a few teams that might be eyeing him.
The New York Jets are in a bit of a pickle when it comes to their quarterback situation. With Aaron Rodgers’ future up in the air, and let’s be real, he hasn’t looked great this season, they could use some fresh talent. Beck would be a solid addition to a team that needs stability at QB. Plus, they’ve got a nice early second-round pick, which puts them in a good spot.
The Tennessee Titans might be a little cautious about high second-round QBs after the Will Levis experiment didn’t quite pan out. But hey, you can’t let one bad apple spoil the bunch! Right now, Mason Rudolph is running the show for the Titans. He’s done okay, but let’s face it—he’s more of a backup.

Next are the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders are also in need of some QB help. While they’ve been on a bit of a winning streak lately, it hasn’t done much for their draft position. They were once thought to be in line for Sanders, but now sitting at sixth, it seems unlikely they’ll snag him unless they trade up.
Ah, Cleveland—the city that just can’t catch a break! With Deshaun Watson restructuring his contract and not living up to expectations, it’s almost certain he’ll be cut after 2025. Could Beck be their next big hope? Maybe not. Cleveland has had some bad luck with QBs in the past. It seems like every quarterback they draft ends up being a shadow of their college self. Then they get traded or released only to thrive elsewhere. It’s wild how often this happens! So if Cleveland is looking for new blood, they might want to consider guys like Jalen Milroe, Quinn Ewers, or Carson Beck himself. But let’s be real; there’s a good chance they’ll mess it up again no matter who they pick. Beck is a player to vouch for as we head toward the draft. Where is he landing, according to you?
