There was a time not many years ago when college athletes didn’t see a dime of the revenue or status they acquired during their playing days. Thankfully, those days are over with the advent of NIL and multimillion-dollar deals now happening between big brands and college athletes. Now, the higher the athlete’s status in the sporting pyramid, the higher his NIL value and the higher his earnings from NIL deals. Carson Beck has been enjoying a chunk of that sum lately.
Beck had his first major NIL deal with Zero FG Energy Drink, and since then, his valuation and sponsorships have continued to soar. Currently, he has a NIL valuation of close to $4.3 million and has accumulated NIL deals worth $10 million (per Front Office Sports). He has been living the life of his dreams with his newfound wealth and fame. Except a tragedy took place, which is a grave cause of worry for Beck.

According to On3 Sports, Carson Beck had his high-end cars stolen overnight, including his Mercedes and Lamborghini. His girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder, has also been reported to have her car stolen. While Cavinder’s SUV was later found, Beck’s cars remain stolen as of now. According to reports, cops and senior law enforcement officials are trying to look for both of the stolen cars. The total cost of both of the high-end cars stands to be around $400,000. Which will be a huge loss for Carson Beck. Here’s why.
Carson Beck acquired the Lamborghini Urus Performante in February last year, which is worth around $270,000. The ownership of the high-end SUV did show the love Beck has for cars, as he also said in a statement. “I love cars. I got a car. That’s really all it is. Obviously, a lot of people are going to look at it and say, what a terrible decision, what a terrible choice with his money. But it’s just a car at the end of the day. It’s not too big of a deal. I’m just driving it around.” Of course, everyone needs a car to get around, but if it’s a car as expensive as a Lamborghini, heads will surely turn. Apart from this one, he also had a collection of a few others.
He owned the Mercedes-Benz E63, which is worth around $113,000 and is also a beast to drive around. It comes with a 603-horsepower engine and has a powerful twin-turbo-fitted V8 engine. The Mercedes is also among the two cars that got stolen. But he also has another one in the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. The black-colored supercar comes with an 807-horsepower engine and has stability mechanisms for smooth driving controls. Moving on, let’s see what lies ahead for Beck in the future at Miami.

Carson Beck’s future at Miami at a crossroads?
Carson Beck joined Miami, ditching the NFL for one more season. That saw him earning a bumper boost on his pay with his aspirations to win the natty trophy while being the QB1. But the question comes up: Does Miami have enough to provide a platform for Carson Beck’s aspirations?
Well, their squad is surely filled with players who lack experience and haven’t seen many snaps. Mark Fletcher is the only player who has been a regular on the field with 1,121 yards. But their other players who are coming back in 2025 do not have that kind of experience. For instance, Jordan Lyle, their running back, hasn’t seen many snaps. On top of that, Chance Robinson is another name who hasn’t even played a single game till now. So, there’s some worry in that department. The verdict?
Well, Mario Cristobal’s latest class in 2025 ranks 1st in ACC and has some very good prospects. Furthermore, their latest staff additions in Corey Hetherman (DC), Damione Lewis (assistant D-line coach), and Will Harris, his latest signing as the team’s new secondary coach, do provide a glimmer of hope. So, we just have to wait and see if Beck fulfills his dream or not.
