Cam Ward took no flakes for the Miami downfall at all. He did whatever he could to lead his team to a 10-2 record. Unfortunately, the Canes missed the playoff spot and their chance of bringing the national title back home after a two-decade and a half stale. However, Ward has reasons to make an inaudible appeal to the NFL giants, specifically to the New York Giants. $7.3 billion worth of NFL franchise scouts were in attendance during Miami’s game against Wake Forest earlier this season. Would they make up their mind about Ward with a mutual interest? Well, a controversial Hurricanes booster, Nevin Shapiro, dropped an intriguing intel.
Of course, New York isn’t purposely trying to go tank. not at all! But the bad luck or even a lack of efficiency in the ba-l game is actually giving them an edge over others for the upcoming year. MetLife faithful revealed an ace in the hole when the Giants gave it to the New Orleans Saints through a blocked field goal and sustained a 14-11 setback this Sunday. With the blow, New York gained a leg up to pick a quarterback. While jostling with the Las Vegas Raiders for the No. 1 rights to pick their favorite QB might go in vain, they are still second in the race as per the latest mock draft.
With all the hype swirling around Cam Ward, the Heisman frontrunner, Shapiro made the deal final. “I‘m being told through reliable sources—Cam Ward is going to the New York Giants—guaranteed—and the University of Miami’s offensive coordinator, Shannon Dawson, is going with him,” Shapiro said.

You might argue that the Giants would rather pick Hunter or Manning when Shedeur Sanders already looks like a sure-shot pack, but the bottom line is they desperately need a QB at all costs. As Daniel Jones requested his release from the New York Giants and joined forces with the Vikings, the Giants have really been in hot water to keep up a tight offense.
Dealing with a whooping eight-game losing streak isn’t something to ignore. But then there is a little too much time between Week 15 of the NFL season and the first few picks of the NFL Draft to guarantee anything at the farthest. The sneaky point would even get intense when it would come from an entity that was alleged to commit a financial romping by indirectly helping the Hurricanes. But regardless of the debate about Cam being a locked catch for the Giants, former NFL scout believe the Texas kid can revolutionize the program and add some much-needed value.
Can Cam Ward help the Giants get back to their glory?
The praises for Cam Ward’s unique offensive prowess continue from all quarters. Danny Kelly wrote, ”The Miami star is a dynamic playmaker with a good-sized frame, strong arm, and penchant for the big play. A five-year starter who played two seasons at Incarnate Word, two seasons at Washington State, and his final season at Miami, Ward, brings plenty of experience and a dual-threat skill set to New York.”

”If he can feed 2024 first-round pick receiver Malik Nabers and take care of the football better than Jones ever did, Ward will give the Giants a shot at competing in the NFC East once again.” the ex-booster chimed in.
Ward has been a game-changer for the Canes all along. His top-tier arm strength, abundant experience, versatile talent and NIL expertise have turned thousands of heads, moving to a productive season end. When Cristobal lured him into the state of Florida from Washington State, it was a trailblazer move for the HC. The kid exceeded expectations by adding stellar numbers, records and awards under his belt.
Although he still has some areas to work on regarding the turnover and interception issues, it would be wise for Brian Daboll to skip that limitation by pairing him with a bridge quarterback.
