Coach Prime must be so proud of his team. After a disappointing season last year, the Buffs are moving strong. This Saturday, they dominated Utah and secured their eighth victory of the season. This victory was more special as Buffs biggest fan, Miss Peggy, celebrated her 100th birthday with Coach Prime, players, and the entire country.
However, her special moment turned into a bittersweet moment as she remembered her twin sister on their birthday. On November 20, the Youtube channel of DNVR posted her interview with Coach Prime. When she was questioned about her experience of celebrating birthday at the stadium with millions of people, she said, “I haven’t even comprehended it yet but I just I cried and I just thank God for my life and for all the friends and for everything that’s happened to me.” Further sobbing, she added, “I just wish my twin sister were here; it all started because we were twins, and very I will. I can’t deny that we’ve been loyal fans but I said to get all this attention for just having a good time is unbelievable.”

Peggy lost her sister, Betty Hoover, in 2020. They are known as “CU twins.” Like Peggy mentioned, it’s heartwarming to watch the entire school acknowledge and celebrate someone who has dedicatedly supported Buffs. Folsom Filed went crazy and celebrated with the superfan and sang her happy birthday. How beautiful is that? Knowing Deion Sanders, the celebration was needed. He not only celebrated and spent some time with Peggy but he also wrote a special note for her.

Peggy and Betty will be remembered forever. Deion Sanders and Pegg share a beautiful bond. He has promised her in the past that he will win a bowl game in her honor. And now, on a special occasion, he made sure she attended a bowl game. That is Deion Sanders for you. Right now, with an 8-2 record, the Buffs are climbing into the top 15. They are one of the serious contenders, but Deion Sanders very well knows they cannot take a back seat. Now Sanders has only one vision, which is to lead the Buffs to the playoffs. Moving forward, let’s discuss the Buffs recent victory, see how they entertained Peggy, and discuss what the victory means to them.
Will week 12 implications stop Deion Sanders from dreaming big?
“We are coming,” Coach Prime said after winning against Utah. “And we aren’t nearly there yet,” USA reported Sanders’s comments. The statements are enough to tell about the energy and the new approach of the Colorado Buffaloes. Week 12 has changed the landscape. BYU lost to Kansas State and it indicates that the Big 12 may secure only one playoff spot. What? This is getting intense now. As of now, Indiana is out of the picture, as Cignetti has a key chance to clarify the playoffs even if they lose to Ohio State. On the other hand, Oregon has been ruling college football for the past few weeks. Will they share the No. 1 position with any other team?

Shedeur Sanders had a rough start. How often have we seen him making an interception in the first quarter? But he knows how to bounce back; he did the same and three touchdown passes and led the Buffs to a 49-24 victory over Utah. With four back-to-back victories, they have maintained the momentum and kept their hopes alive for a spot in the conference title game. Shedeur completed 30 out of 41 passes for 340 yards and showed some good connection with Will Sheppard.
How can Deion’s two-way star stay out of the picture? He stood up again, not only improving his Heisman position with impressive performance but showing his potential on both sides and helping the team secure a victory in week 12. His incredible 28-yard catch is still fresh; we are sure Travis Hunter is not stopping here. He has a lot more to prove. Similry Deion Sanders and the entire team have a big game coming ahead. It will be interesting to see if they manage to carry forward and momentum and pick up where they left off in week 12.
