The new UNC head coach Bill Belichick has recently been the talk of the town! After all, the GOAT, after his NFL gig, chose to enter the college football coaching front. Not only that. Belichick’s name is now a hot topic because of his personal life as well. The eight-time Super Bowl champ has been reportedly locked in love with Jordon Hudson, who is 48 years his junior. By now, she’s become a social media star, and UNC fans are glued to her every post.
On that note, on January 11, Hudson posted an IG story that’s surely going to make you go ‘Awww’ showing her new friend. Meanwhile, Belichick’s latest moves are enough answers to his NFL rumors.
The internet was left in shock after Belichick split up with his longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday. The New England Patriots HC is now dating Hudson, who has been a cheerleader at Bridgewater State University. As per the speculations, the duo met on a night back in 2021 when Hudson was part of a philosophy project and bonded with the then Patriots HC. However, it was much later, in January 2023, that the duo was spotted for the first time together.

Now that Belichick has started it fresh professionally with the Tar Heels, Jordon is spotted more often. The UNC fans are now following her on social media to know her better. While she is known as a pageant queen who won the Miss USA pageant in March 2024, not many know that she is a true nature and bird lover.
On January 11, Belichick’s sweetheart posted an IG story that is enough to melt your heart. Donning a blue-colored UNC hoodie inside the car, Jordon lovingly held a white cockatoo. The caption read, “My newest friend in Chapel Hill 🤍.” As the bird kept quaking, her co-passenger confirmed how it’s the cockatoo’s love language: “That’s her love language when she satrts quaking like that.” Yes, that’s how Belichick’s girlfriend made friends with the birdie on the first encounter.
The owner of the bird then stated, “Take her Jordon, y’all will enjoy her…Atleast I would know if I need a babysitter.” To which she instantly came with an enthusiastic reply, “Oh, absolutely 1000%.” The male voice continued, “You can’t find people like you that understand.” Well, what made Jordon so easy with the birdies?
She is obsessed with all things nature. Her IG account is tall proof. Belichick’s ladylove’s bio reads “Bird-er.” Also, there are pictures of her from around the world, such as Costa Rica and Croatia, posing with different birds. She also had a parrot named Mango who, as Jordon described, was “goofy, cuddly, and colorful feathered bestie.” Sadly, she passed away in April 2022. With all this going on, what’s Belichick cooking up?

Probably the man is trying to prove the rumors about him wrong. It has been only a month since Belichick agreed to a five-year contract with UNC. As per the reports, North Carolina includes a $10 million buyout if he leaves prior to June 1, 2025. That makes a fraction of what the HC made by the end of his tenure with the Patriots.
At the same time, NFL programs like the New York Jets, Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, and Jacksonville Jaguars have head coaching vacancies. This further fueled the rumors of Belichick swapping his college football coaching gig with the NFL. However, the man preferred not to open his mouth.
But word on the street is that Belichick has ‘no plans to leave North Carolina.’ He also made it clear from the jump that he wasn’t coming to Chapel Hill just to leave. And right now, Belichick is all about building a killer roster at UNC.

On January 10, he tweeted a series of snaps with a bunch of young talents. The caption read, “Finding Future CFP Champions out on the recruiting trail! #GDTBATH #GoHeels.” Reportedly, the Tar Heels have signed nine players, and two more are committed to joining the program. So, as of now, Bill Belichick might want some peace, proving himself in college football. NFL, thus can wait!
