Maybe the fault is in Bill Belichick’s stars. Well, even after 24 seasons and six Super Bowl rings as HC, the 73-year-old couldn’t dodge getting the boot. After all, he built this crazy dynasty with Tom Brady at the Patriots, but Belichick was done rolling the dice in the pros and figured he’d try his hand at college football. And when he jumped in, he wasn’t alone—he brought his whole NFL-style playbook, his staff, Michael Lombardi, and… his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. Now, with all the cameras and clicks on the program, here’s the kicker: his girl’s apparently stepping out of line, and it’s causing Belichick some professional headaches. Like that one CBS interview everyone’s talking about. So, after trying to get some credit for this massive $7.5 billion dynasty, is it all going to blow up because of Jordon showing her true colors?
Yes, for Belichick, God had some different plans. He fell in love with a 24-year-old former Bridgewater State cheerleader he met on a flight, but it wasn’t their 49-year age difference as much as her alleged meddling in his career that caused problems. She, in a way, is now performing managerial duties for her 73-year-old beau and gets her name CCed in each of Belichick’s business emails. But things started to turn bitter when Jordon followed the North Carolina head coach like a shadow wherever he went. On Sunday, April 27, Bill Belichick appeared for an interview on the CBS Mornings show. And no wonder Jordon tagged along.
What was more surprising was the fact that there were no UNC officials or PR representatives, only the two. Turns out that interview had a mission. Belichick agreed to do a sit-down with Tony Dokoupil of CBS Mornings to promote his new book, “The Art of Winning.” However, eventually, the show officials must have regretted their decision to the core.

Jordon completely went off the rails during her beau’s interview, to the point where she stormed out of the room and delayed shooting for 30 minutes. One thing Dokoupil learned from the interview is, don’t ask Belichick how he met the love of his life. “How did you guys meet?” the journalist asked. That’s when Hudson butted in, saying, “We’re not talking about this.” But that was not enough. She further showed her frustration on X, even though not directly.
Bill Belichick’s girlfriend Jordon Hudson retweeted this today:
— Savage (@SavageSports_) April 29, 2025
On April 29, two days after the controversial interview, Belichick’s lady love retweeted a fan’s tweet where the X user shared some deep frustration towards Dokoupil. That was the best weapon for Jordon. Without investing any words herself, she just had to hit the ‘reshare’ button. A user named Roxi the Rottweiler’s tweet read, “Bill looks like he wants to reach across and strangle the life out of the interviewer. I kinda wish he did.” Maybe this is exactly what Jordon felt too. Now that’s a rocky start for Belichick, who has a mission behind launching his new book.

What’s your perspective on:
Is Jordon Hudson a distraction or a new chapter in Belichick's storied career?
Have an interesting take?
What made Bill Belichick take up the pen?
Enough of coaching. Maybe that’s why Belichick might have thought of trying his hand at something new. So, he channeled the inner writer within himself and wrote a new book. Unfortunately, Robert Kraft, who played such an important role in his head coaching career, was not mentioned in the book. On being questioned about this, Belichick came up with a sharp reply. “It’s about my life lessons in football, and it’s really more about the ones I experienced directly.”
After the most-talked-about interview, Hudson took to Instagram to post a screenshot of what appeared to be an email. Amidst the long write-up, one thing stood out, drawing the fans’ attention. It was evident that Belichick himself wanted to send off this clear message.

The excerpt from the email read, “I want this book to be presented as a look at my professional life and how I did my job. On the way up to, and as the leader of, an organization that grew from a $500 m franchise to an $8 b organization that played in 10 and won 6 Super Bowls over 25 years.” While some may like it or not, New England’s valuation is $7.5 billion, and they attained this growth under Belichick.
Well, there have been a lot of blemishes when it comes to Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots chapter. How his bond had hit sour notes with the GOAT Tom Brady, which eventually led to his departure. Plus, the Patriots’ big loss to the Philadelphia Eagles was the result of poor management. But he deserves due credit for leading New England to a 266-121 regular season record over 24 seasons and bringing home six Super Bowl titles. With Belichick’s 400-page tell-all dropping May 20, will Jordon Hudson’s tweet tank the hype—or spark major FOMO?
