After months and months of throwing a fit about not being old enough to be a grandfather, Deion has now embraced the walking-cane lifestyle and the tiny bundle of joy that he’ll be rocking in his arms. Deiondra Sanders and her fiance, Jacquees, have welcomed a newborn son into their lives and the Sanders household couldn’t be happier. Though Deion has initially been a skeptic, his grandpaternal instincts have finally seemed to kick in as he expresses sheer admiration for his daughter for the new journey she’s going to tread on as a mother.

Deion’s gray facial hair is something he’s recently started sporting and while the fans didn’t give a second thought to it, it might just be because he’s coming to terms with the fact that he’s now a grandparent. On 28th September, Deion took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone and additionally, gave props to his daughter for taking on the responsibility of a lifetime by becoming a mother.

Deion’s recent sentimental note included his gratitude for the newborn and wrote, “@deiondrasanders Mothering a CHILD is awesome. Thank God she’s 34 and welcomed, accepted & prepared to be a MOTHER. I’m praying for all the young ladies that may have a child sooner than expected. Being a Mother ain’t no joke.” Deion seems to have turned over a new leaf and is now accepting this new blessing bestowed upon him. Deiondra Sanders highlights her issues with pregnancy

Everyone knew that Deiondra’s baby was nothing more than a blessing in disguise when he was born on the same day as Deion Sanders’ birthday. Prior to her announcement, Deiondra’s pregnancy had been considered high-risk due to her medical history, which included several myomectomy surgeries to remove the growth of fibroids. She battled all these odds to finally welcome baby Snow, who came in weighing in at 6 lbs, 13 ounces, and 18 inches long.

On 13th August, Deiondra took to X to reveal the difficult path she’s endured towards her pregnancy and wrote, “Doctors said its a miracle Baby Que found a safe space in my uterus to latch on too and get nutrients. They said my fibroids are like cobble stone within my uterus. This baby is destined by God🙌🏾 Thank you Jesus for my blessing💕” Thus, the father-daughter duo are collectively celebrating this massive change in their lives by counting their lucky stars as a new one enters the vicinity of their homes.
