Did Deion Sanders Jr. really fumble with XRP, or is it just a learning curve?

When you got pocket full of money, you will end up making some dumb mistakes. With the world slowly shifting more toward tokens and crypto, Deion Sanders Jr. had thought that making a new investment won’t hurt that much. As per the latest reports, Deion Sanders Jr. has summed up quite the net worth. Standing at around $5 million, he is worth more than his younger brother, Shedeur Sanders (who is at around  $4.7 million).

So, on a fine morning (we don’t know which), Deion Jr., aka Bucky, thought investing in some XRP would do him good. Now see, Bucky ain’t no “crypto bro” and he probably took advice from someone else, but whoever did give him that advice didn’t think it through. “Got damn XRP… why when I put a lot of money in there, you want drop down to .51?” Bucky mentioned on his X. When a fan pointed out asking why he decided to invest in XRP because it is a “sh-tcoin”, Bucky was quick to mention, “I must’ve received bad advice.”

Listen, this ain’t no crypto page, but from what we saw using a simple Google search, it is quite visible that XRP has been on a quick decline since October 21st. The value went from .55 USD on Monday to .51 USD as of now. Should’ve done some research, man.

As per the latest reports, it was found that around $11 million XRP has been shifted or transferred in the last 24 hours. This signals 2 specific things: either this was a pump-and-dump token, which many “crypto bros” use and promote to make a quick buck after misleading people, or there is a different competitor for the coin on the market right now.

Regardless of what it is, we all know that Deion Sanders Jr. ain’t getting that sum back anytime soon. However, there is always a silver lining. Bucky didn’t reach that 5 mill valuation through magic or something. He has managed to create an entire empire and we gonna find out how.

Have an interesting take?

A quick Google search will get you to the Well Off Media YouTube channel. If you know Deion Sanders aka Coach Prime or the Buffs and all their shenanigans, then chances are you got to know them through one of Bucky’s videos. This dude has been the mastermind behind the Buffs and Coach Prime’s entire marketing. From what we can see through SocialBlade, the YouTube channel brings in somewhere around $64.3k to $386K for Deion Jr.

Now, this amount tends to be different and does not reflect the actual income he receives. Another major source is sponsorship. If you got fame, brands will come running to you to promote their products. And keeping in mind the fact that Deion Jr. is Coach Prime’s son, he’s gonna get approached a he-k lot more. While we haven’t seen Bucky promote any brand explicitly, who knows maybe behind closed doors some cheques are being signed?

Now comes the final part; the merch and the songs. Deion Jr. is big on the rap scene and he has amassed around 20,091 monthly listeners on Spotify. Some of his hit songs on the platform got around 200K to 500K plays. If we check the average payout from Spotify, the platform sends in around $1000 for 300k streams on average. And then comes the merch. He has his own merch line for Well Off Media and that brings him some payout as well.
