The 2024 college football season is about to end as we’re entering the final stretch of the games on November 30. With that, everyone has some kind of clarity on which teams are riding and which are on a shrinking ship. But what about the Heisman? At this point in time, two big names, Travis Hunter and Ashton Jeanty, have left everyone behind. Now an expert might accidentally reveal the winner of the Heisman!

As per the latest odds, Colorado’s two-way star Travis Hunter holds a pretty good -850, and noise state running back Ashton Jeanty needs +550 seed to win the rat race. Heisman goes to any one of them, but these guys deserve tremendous respect. They have left behind big football guys like Cam Ward and Dillon Gabriel. It’s not a joke.

However, we have to answer this difficult question, as only one best-suited guy will get the honor of receiving the Heisman.

As per our analyst from the Menace 2 sports show, a clear winner before the actual title is given to one of them. They started by giving a clear statement, saying, “It’s kind of a foregone conclusion that Mister Travis Hunter is going to win the Heisman.”

Soon after that, they went on to explain the reason why Hunter is better deserved than Jeanty or, in other words, why Jeanty will not win the title. “But he also chose Boise State over other good offers, like you chose to, even if you had a ridiculous year to not win the Heisman, like if he would have gone to a power five school and played in a power five conference and done this, he would win the Heisman, but he’s doing this in the Mountain West, and it’s still impressive. He did it against Oregon. So I’m not saying he’s not capable. I just don’t know how a group of five player wins the Heisman.”

Jeanty committed to the Broncos in September 2021 while he was already receiving offers from programs such as the California Golden Bears and Tulane Green Wave. These analysts addressed the elephant in the room by clearing it out that being a power five school matter and the committee also took notice of it. If Jeanty had gone to a different school, things could have turned out differently. On top of that, what Jeanty has achieved this season is just incredible. The guy crossed the 2000 rushing yards mark on Saturday against Wyoming. In total, he had 275 carries, 27 touchdowns, and 18 receptions. Apart from that, how is Hunter doing score-wise and overall in his games compared to Jeanty?

Travis Hunter’s Heisman odds after a successful season

As the current buzz surrounding the Heisman race, Travis Hunter and Jeanty are going to be the finalists who will get an invitation to New York for the award ceremony, which will take place on December 19th. The final winner will be named on December 14th. If Hunter wins this one, then this year’s Heisman is locked for a nonquarterback. This kind of scenario has occurred only twice in the last decade.

While Ashton Jeanty is a great candidate, there isn’t any doubt about it, but boy, oh boy, he can’t beat Colorado starboy Travis Huner in this game. Although he was a little disappointing in the last game against Kansas, where he got 8 receptions, 125 yards, and 2 touchdowns with a total of 7 tackles for the final score, our boy’s overall stats are just amazing.

So far this season, Travis Hunter has accumulated 82 receptions, 1036 yards, 11 touchdowns, 2 carries, 5 yards, 1 touchdown, 31 total tackles, with 3 interceptions, and 9 PD. That’s just amazing. No wonder he’s a Heisman favorite. Besides his -850 odds, Hunter holds a massive 90% probability of winning the Heisman. With that, all eyes will be on the final days as to who becomes the ultimate winner.
