“He had a big a– hat on”. While his son (Arch Manning) is out here marking his name as the next greatest Longhorns QB, Cooper Manning, on the other hand, is making a bold fashion statement. Back during the Red River Rivalry, we got to see some great plays from the Longhorns, but what made our day was watching Cooper Manning cheer his son with a huge hat on. While some found it funny, some were also quick to troll Cooper Manning.
But fear not because the father of the superstar QB is here with his response. “All Hat,” Cooper wrote in the caption of his latest Instagram post. He had his signature hat on and the rest of his family by his side. You have to give it to this man. Not everyone out there can pull off a cowboy hat like that one. It’s also kind of funny that both the father-son duo are making quite the statement right now.

While it is true that with Quinn Ewers ready (after recovering from his injury), Arch Manning won’t be the starting QB anymore. But don’t let that sway you away from the fact that this guy single-handedly made the entire Longhorns fanbase switch their mind on who they want their starting QB to be. The era of Arch Manning started with the Roadrunners game. With Ewers out, Manning was put on the turf, and this dude put on quite the display.

Bringing in 4 touchdowns on his second game of the season, Manning was all over the news. The hype train never stopped after that. With the next 2 games against ULM and MSST, Manning got 2 touchdowns in each game. His completion rate has been hovering between 80-75 with all 4 games combined.
The Longhorns are going straight to the playoffs. The dudes that are on Steve Sarkisian‘s roster this year are all monsters. No wonder it’s ‘go big or go broke’ for Sarkisian. With Ewers back on the turf and with a solid performance against Oklahoma, he might make it to the No.1 spot on the Heisman list real fast. However, what you gotta keep in mind is that Arch and Ewers aren’t the only stars you gotta keep your eyes on.

What’s your perspective on:
Can Arch Manning dethrone Quinn Ewers, or is the Longhorns' QB battle just heating up?
Have an interesting take?
Enter Ryan Wingo. With a squad full of elites like Isaiah Bond and Matthew Golden, you really gotta give it your all if you wanna break it to the top 5 list. And Ryan Wingo did not disappoint. On the Red River rivalry itself, Wingo marked a new personal record.
Averaging 28.8 yards per touch this season, Wingo left his mark as the true freshman WR for the Longhorns. Glimpses of his talent were quite visible early on itself. Take the Michigan game as an example. This dude managed to convert a handoff from Ewers into a 55-yard gain for Texas. Followed that play up with his UTSA game with 1 touchdown and 3 catches. We cannot wait to see what the Longhorns manage to achieve next.
