Arch Manning’s last name is making bigger waves in Austin. He is all ready to get the ball rolling at the starting gig from August onwards. But it’s not a sure-shot road to win for the 19-year-old. After all, he is going to get his mojo tasted in a high-octane Ohio State match to kick off the season. Manning has already showcased a glimpse of his superstar package against UL Monroe and Mississippi when Ewers stepped down with an injury, leaving fans hungry for more. Now, as he is officially ready to take the crown, the expectation knows no bounds. The same expectation that adds a flair to the blueblood Texas QB is also posing an underlying threat to his ability to bear the mammoth pressure and come out victorious.
However, it’s not just about mounting a breakout season in his first year as the Longhorns starter. The kid is turning the tides in the early Heisman conversation as well.

Arch Manning’s early Heisman odds turn the tide
Manning has heard all the flakes and doubts and let his work talk. Despite having the electric blend of talent and blood, Manning kept stuck on his Texas deal for over two years. He could have easily chosen another high-paying program that doesn’t make him fight for the spotlight, especially representing a NIL-driven era where the word commitment holds nothing but a hollow promise. But he didn’t do that. Arch has been outright clear on si Texas’s purpose right from the beginning.
When Sarkisian keeps choosing Ewers over him, the prodigy noted, he felt hurt, and heartbroken but never thought of jumping ship elsewhere simply because it was his childhood dream to play for the burnt orange and make a big impact. Now, with Ewers signing off, Sarkisian can do nothing but shift the focus on him. With more playing opportunities comes more stats, and with more stats, a frontline Heisman contention is confirmed. NFL rookie watch predicted, ‘Arch Manning is currently the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy for the 2025-2026 season. Manning is reportedly putting in an “insane” amount of work to prepare for next season. Manning reportedly watches more film than any other player on the Texas roster and is the hardest working player in the weight room as well.” The ice on the cake is a successful Heisman run that moves him closer to an early NFL draft as well. Not good news for Sark! Whatever!

Manning seems locked to live up to his name and standard. Ahead of a full-fledged season at Texas, the prodigy is seemingly busy in some constructive collaboration with comedian Shayne Boyle. If you think it’s just a business move, you are wrong, dear. The Texas crown jewel makes sure it gets him the opportunity to challenge his athletic ability, throwing a marshmallow 49 yards. The pitch is ready; the momentum is brewing. Now, it’s just a matter of time before Arch enters the field and dazzles the crowd with back-to-back wins.
But running for the Heisman and sealing it through a hard-hitting contention will put an end to his lifelong curse.

Arch Manning received a humiliating snub from the Heisman trophy prediction
Being born with a lofty last name is not essentially a good thing always. In fact, it takes more than it gives. For Arch, the esteemed family background got him a lot of flakes for resembling a nepotism product. David Pollack has already sidelined him in best of the best race. ”I don’t think he’s a top-five quarterback in college football. Like, I mean, and there’s not a lot of great guys… but I wrote down a bunch of names,” the former round one pick gave a stern verdict on Manning’s future.
Pollack didn’t rule Manning out from the average top quarterbacks list. Nevertheless, he deems the exaggeration surrounding him unnecessary. ”Holy cow, like he’s a can’t-miss guy. He’s the Heisman Trophy winner.’ I don’t see that.”
Arch’s father, Cooper Manning, is also not a fan of the media labeling him as the generational player even before he hardly showcases anything on the big stage yet. The eldest Manning fears that it could be a good trap to throw dirt on him later and make him accountable for something that he didn’t even promise.
