After last Saturday’s disappointing game against USF, Kalen DeBoer is determined to bounce back on Saturday against Wisconsin. It will decide Alabama’s fate in the 2024 college football season. While boosting his team’s confidence, Kalen DeBoer said, “This isn’t a wake-up call; it’s just, you know, keep raising the standards.” Today’s game is more like a measuring stick for Alabama, and every Crimson Tide fan is witnessing that moment right now. Nate Oats, Alabama’s basketball team head coach, also reached the stadium to watch this historic game live.
The stadium is filling with Alabama’s red and white colors, and the game of Alabama vs. Wisconsin will begin in no time. Alabama fans are making attendance because they spotted a familiar face. Nate Oats is in the town, everyone. Although Alabama runs in his blood as the head coach of Bama’s basketball team, are you aware that he is a native of Wisconsin? It’s difficult to cheer against the state you grew up in. Kudos to the Oats cheering for Alabama. Oats can be seen wearing a gray-colored shirt as he chats with an Alabama staff member.

Nate Oats grew up in Watertown, Wisconsin, where he played basketball at Maranatha Baptist University. On March 27, 2019, Oats took charge of Alabama Crimson Tide’s head coach position. Besides that, his presence boosted the confidence of millions of Alabama fans and, of course, the team as well. Moving forward, let’s look at today’s game. Is Alabama giving Wisconsin a hard time, or vice versa?
Alabama vs. Wisconsin game on Saturday night
Alabama is currently leading Wisconsin with a 35-10 score at the start of the 4th quarter. For Bama, the heroes of the game are familiar names. Their prodigy Ryan Williams has starred with some terrific plays, catching a 31-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Milroe in the first quarter. Williams followed that with a 47-yard catch in the second quarter. Milroe completed that sequence with a 26-yard TD pass to Germie Bernard.
The second half has followed a similar story. Jam Miller’s 34-yard TD run, followed by Jalen Milroe’s TD run. In between, Wisconsin managed to score a TD. All the predictions about Wisconsin giving Bama a tough time haven’t come to fruition. The Badgers did lose their QB in the first quarter, and that could be the reason why their offense never got going. Do the Tide fans care? Of course not!
