Jaeden Roberts is a key asset for Alabama’s offense, and Kalen DeBoer doesn’t want him to lose on his game. After his statement on Roberts playing week 1 against Western Kentucky, Coach Kalen DeBoer assured his return, stating “Nothing major.” following this his mom also shared a major update on his recovery, which came across as a big relief to all his fans.

The day after HC Kalen DeBoer explained why Roberts didn’t play in the team’s recent scrimmage, he was recovering from an upper-body injury in early practice sessions. Kalen didn’t seem concerned, as there were no long-term injuries. “Jaeden will be able to play Week 1,”. Later on, Charlie Potter Senior Writer @On3sports tweeted the same on his return. To which Roberts’s mom, Twanisha adds more assurance by sharing a post-surgery, injury update on her son saying “Good morning Bama Fan Family!! Mr. Jaeden Roberts aka.. My little guy is out of surgery and on his way home. Thank you all for the kind words, prayers, and positive vibes. Their bodies endure so much and they need all the prayers and support they can get! Thanks again! #RollTide”.

Roberts’s mother also clarifies about the surgery he went through, saying it was on one of his hands, writing “on his hand” in a reply to a fan asking the type of injury and where he got it. Looks like Jaeden Roberts is recovering better and is all set for the upcoming match. Losing last year’s strong offense would’ve been a big disappointment for Bama. Even running back Jam Miller is also dealing with his injury and has to wear a no-contact jersey in practice. Letting go of two such players at a time would have been the worst dream cum reality for the team.

Coming as a four-star recruit for Alabama in the year 2021, he emerged as one of the best offensive linemen in the country and is now expected to be a high pick in the 2025 NFL Draft playing a major part in establishing their run and having success with it towards the end of the year. He is great at creating running lanes, blocking, and allowing runners to get in. An all-rounder which can be an added advantage for the Alabama’s. 

Last season, Alabama was holding tight with 47th position in the country’s rushing offense, gaining 172.64 yards per game, the Tides were also 129th in sacks. With the coming college football season, Jaeden Roberts is going to be a vital member in improving the offensive line for Alabama.
