Why does Jalen Milroe still captivate fans despite being in a sticky situation?

That’s what you call the power of signal callers! This time it was Alabama Crimson Tide QB Jalen Milroe who turned into an attention magnet when Kalen DeBoer’s tribe faced the fans. Well, it was not expected, isn’t it? Even though fans did not give him any side eye, now that Milroe is in a sticky spot within his own program is no longer a hush-hush game. For quite a few days, DeBoer’s QB has been in the limelight but surprisingly not for the right reasons. Then what might have worked in Milroe’s favor that he still continues to be an absolute fan-favorite? Well, looks like DeBoer has taken the helm to chart back his QB’s path to being “his best” version.

Just when the Alabama fans thought that they had enough after losing the Vandy game, the Crimson Tide further stooped down. October 19, Saturday was no less than an ominous day when DeBoer’s tribe got their second blow of the season, losing to Tennessee Volunteers 24-17. But thank god, fans still haven’t turned away from their favorite Milroe. After all, they have been seeing him since 2020. And that somewhere has got fans’ heartstrings attached to Milroe’s. So on Alabama’s first press meet after the fresh Tennessee loss, the fan reactions were enough to prove that they would forever be on Milroe’s side.

The QB knows it well to connect with the fans and just went with their favorite chant, “ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL TIDE, WOAH!” Well, there came a time when you could only hear the fans cheer than Milroe’s voice. So much is their love for the QB! The QB then topped it with his gratitude speech, “I am super-honored and blessed.” Even though Milroe tried to portray everything as cool between him and his program, that’s surely not the case. But why is it so?

Losses often bring up the most bizarre scoops, you know! This time after their Tennessee loss, many suggested that Jalen Milroe was forcing the pigskin to WR Ryan Williams, not once or twice, but EIGHTEEN times. While it’s still a mystery, the QB got snubbed by one of his biggest hypemen, ex-Alabama WR Matt Cadell who seems to have gotten really upset seeing Milroe only completing 55.6% of his throws against the Volunteers. “Milroe, I gotta give it. I’ve been pulling for you for the longest, brother. Work on your mechanics…Are you working on throwing now? So, man, get back in the lab. Work on your ground,” Cadell commented. Not to worry Alabama fans, DeBoer has got it covered.

How Kalen DeBoer plans to revive Jalen Milroe’s game

Something or the other seems to be off with Milroe. And who else to diagnose the problem, other than Kalen DeBoer? After all, he has been dubbed as the “doctor-ordered” coach for the QB. Back in June, on the On3 podcast analyst J.D.PicKell came up cooking an interesting narrative. Until then, fans only trusted the ex-HC Nick Saban in Milroe’s case since the GOAT happened to be the one who had taken the QB on board.

Why does Jalen Milroe still captivate fans despite being in a sticky situation?

Have an interesting take?

But this time PicKell stated, “Jalen Milroe’s issue quote unquote inconsistency I think can be met by one of Kalen DeBoer’s strengths in terms of how they scheme up the offense… I think Kalen DeBoer is exactly what the doctor ordered to improve his consistency as a passer.” And what is DeBoer’s plan of action this time to help Milroe get back on his track?

“We just gotta get back to when he’s at his best and not try to do too much, not try to get outside of what he’s capable of,” assured the Alabama HC. Maybe, he too believes that Jalen Milroe has bitten off more than he could chew, which is evident in how he had three of his four lowest rushing outputs of the season. Let’s see if Dr DeBoer’s remedy can cure Milroe bringing back his madness on the gridiron.
