Shilo Sanders’ run in the realm of college football ended this year. To be honest, his time at the Buffs was certainly less fruitful that his brother Sheduer. Having said that, Coach Deion loved having his kids around in the team. That came with its own challenges. It’s hard enough to avoid media glare when you are Deion’s son. On top of that, you’re playing for him? That’s double whammy, and Shilo, at various points, felt the brunt. Remember his comeback from injury? Shilo missed a few tackles, and all hell broke loose. Add to that some off-field issues that has followed Shilo, he may just like to forget the 2024 season. Now what? Well, to greener pastures, to the promise land of the NFL.

The Buffs CB is getting ready for the NFL Combine, A a recent video from Well Off Media showed the preparations. Shilo Sanders is working with Andreu Swasey, the Buffs’ new strength coach. The video had Shilo doing exercises under Swasey’s guidance, and you can see the Coach making him give some extra effort. “Don’t be in a rush. Remember, like a jet, right? … Don’t be in a rush to just peek. That’s too early. See your feet coming through so watch your feet coming through. Don’t duck your head too much. Just keep your eyes neutral.

However, Shilo played for the Buffs, Jackson State, and Gamecocks for two of his six seasons in college. Career stats? Shilo had 136 solo tackles out of 184 total. In addition, he recorded six interceptions, including one that he ran back for a score. So, don’t underestimate him for the NFL Combine. But there’s more to Shilo than his on-field persona. Just like his father, there’s flamboyance, there’s swagger, and there’s fashion.

Indeed, on this day a year ago, Shilo walked the catwalk wearing a puffer jacket, flannel shirt, and pants while toting a big brown leather duffel bag. It was Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2024 Men’s Fashion Show in Paris. It could seem that Shilo would have chosen to pursue a career in modeling or fashion if he wasn’t able to enter the 2025 NFL Draft.

One thing that may come to mind is whether Shilo is eligible for the 2025 NFL Draft. Alright, the answer might be found in Deion Sanders’ praise for his son.

Shilo began his collegiate football in 2019 when he enrolled at South Carolina. Then, he moved to Jackson State following 2 years with the Gamecocks. After that, in 2023, Shilo relocated to CU to be with his father. He had a tremendous final season with the Buffs, recording 67 tackles and one forced fumble.
