College kids like to keep things fun! And where there is Deion Sanders, there’s a lot, of course, with a fair share of hard work and effort. With years of being in the spotlight, Coach Prime knows how to entertain the public from media gigs to hilarious on-field banter with the Buffs, thanks to his oldest son Deion Jr.’s YouTube channel, Well Off Media, which offers glimpses into what’s going on at Colorado.
Three days ago, 247Sports released their preseason list of the top 25 college football programs, with programs like Georgia, Ohio State, and Oregon atop the ranks. Sadly, Deion Sanders and the Buffs didn’t make it to the list. But just as a road closes to give another direction, Colorado excelled in a new direction, and that too on the top.
On August 19, Deion Sanders proudly uploaded a post on Colorado’s achievement on his IG story. The post related to a report by 247Sports on the list of the top 50 most fun colleges in the US. Not surprisingly, Colorado topped the list, followed by Texas and Iowa.

It’s not without reason Colorado is being swept under the influence of the Prime Effect. Deion Sanders came, saw, and conquered Boulder, transforming a place under the radar into a vibrant phenomenon. His arrival enticed many prospective students to join the college, including a 20% overall increase in applicants for the fall semester, which accounts for 68,000 interested students. That’s nothing short of the Prime Effect in full swing! But wait, is Deion Sanders here to stay, or does he plan to leave Boulder after all the hype?
Deion Sanders’ plan still has Colorado in it
People became skeptical when NFL talks surfaced about his sons Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders and his valuable two-way star Travis Hunter. They suspected Deion Sanders would leave what he was building in Colorado and follow them to the NFL. But no, that’s not the Buffs HC for you!
During his June appearance on The Joel Klatt Show, he assured his fans that he was not leaving Boulder. He said, “I am a leader of men, not a follower of men. I lead my sons; I don’t follow my sons… So I plan on being here, and be dominant here.” With the Buffs returning to the Big 12 this season, Deion Sanders is poised to win, and his confidence has never shaken despite their last 4-8 season. He asserted, “I love the Big 12, I love everything that we’re doing, I know how to get there. And I’ll be darned if we don’t get there.” His bold words will be out to the test once the Buffs’ season kicks off on August 29.
