The Auburn Tigers received a delightful surprise from Brian Battie just before entering rivalry week. Although the five losses this season have dashed their playoff hopes, today is a big day for the Tigers as they face their archrivals, the Alabama Crimson Tide. While the Tigers really do not have anything to lose, Kalen DeBoer and his squad know the real value of the game because if they win, they still have a chance to enter the playoffs. So, before the Tigers left for the Iron Bowl, running back Brian Battie shocked his teammates and his coaches on Friday. He visited them for the first time since he was shot. Now that is definitely going to boost the team’s energy to fight today. But his teammates are not the only ones who are happy to see him back. Even the rivals are happy to see him back where he belongs.
The official Instagram of Auburn football posted Brian’s comeback, shared some beautiful pictures from his visit and captioned it., “Back with the brotherhood 🧡” The post clearly shows his love for the team and the happiness he brought with him. In no time, the entire world of college football spammed their love for him in the comment section. Carolina Panthers linebacker Chandler Wooten wrote, “Absolutely love to see it 🧡💙”

Brian Battie was shot on May 18 outside an outdoor shopping center in his hometown, Sarasota. The running back was with the other four people when the incident happened and sadly, he lost his brother Tommie Battie during the incident. He was shot in the head and was hospitalised for three months. The young talent is a real-life fighter; let’s see how his teammates and rivals welcomed him back.

Love and support from the rivals
Today is the rivalry weekend and just before that, Battie has not only motivated his teammates but the entire world of football with his positive attitude and the living spirit. Deion Sanders‘ wide receiver and the rising star Jimmy Horn Jr. left a “🖤” for Brian in the comments to let him know that he and his team love him.
Texas State Bobcats quarterback Jordon McCloud wrote, “My boy ❤️🙌” Well, we can see that his spirit is not only recognized, but opponents are happy to see him back. Arizona Cardinals wide receiver joined other players and dropped a heart for him, “🫶🏽” Aww! Now this is the real brotherhood.

The love he is receiving is endless, and the video has definitely put everyone in tears. USC‘s wide receiver Jay Fair continued to spread love and wrote, “My dawg forever bro @brian.1k” Brian is just 23-year-old, and he is inspiring all of us with his not-giving up attitude. Shane Hook, wide receiver and his teammate, left a lovely message for him: “I love you like my mamma made you brudda❤️ @brian.1k.”
Brain Battie joined Auburn in January, and unfortunately couldn’t play this season. However, his story shows how strong he is and how important support from others can be in football.
