“Shilo was working his way to the bottom,” said Deion Sanders when discussing his Kids Power Rankings on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff. But who was working their way to the top? Well, according to Coach Prime’s youngest, Shelomi, it was her. At least, that’s what the shirt she wore to the Buffaloes versus Baylor game on September 22 suggested. But Deion was quick to dismiss his daughter’s preconceptions.

Posting pictures of herself sporting the shirt – that featured a picture of her father in front and the Kids Rankings on the back (with her name in No. 1, of course) – Shelomi wrote, “It’s on the shirt I don’t make the rules.” Well, no matter how excited the Alabama A&M basketball player may have been when she ran to Deion Sanders to flaunt the shirt, he dashed her hopes the following day. “[Shelomi] thinks she’s #1 in my Kids Rankings. I Love u, baby, but you’re NOT #1 right now.” So, who is?

“Your sister [Deiondra] is because she just had her Lil Baby,” Coach Prime clarified. Three weeks on, though, while Shelomi ‘Bossy’ Sanders may still not be atop the Kids Rankings, she sure is leading her siblings in a different aspect. And the Colorado Buffaloes head coach just dropped a hot challenge on her!

On October 11, Deion Sanders posted a video shot by his son, Deion Jr, on Instagram. As the Buffs were seemingly in a practice session, Coach Prime looked at the camera and said, “If I could dance like Chris Brown, I would actually do something after a touchdown.” While he tried to bust out some moves, it was only a matter of time before he came to the conclusion that, in their family, “I think Bossy is the only one who can really, really dance.” Then came the challenge.

“Bossy, if you see this video, I want you to do a quick 10-second video killing that thing.” When Deion Jr suggested her brother Shilo could give her a run for her money, Coach Prime begged to differ. “Shilo can dance but not like Bossy… Bossy be killing that thing!” Can Shelomi dance? Yes! She even took dance lessons! And she has some content flexing her dance moves on TikTok, too. But the question is, will she drop that video? Well, after the added incentive her father gave, it’s looking more than likely.

“Bossy, if you see this video, maybe send me something. By yourself, not with your friends. If you do that, I’ll send you some money.” That incentive seems to have worked its magic because Shelomi commented, “I heard money… video [on the way].” Will we get to see that video? We’re not sure. But considering Deion made the declaration and the challenge public, it’s likely that he’ll share Bossy’s video, too. Who knows? Maybe staying true to her work will help Shelomi inch closer to the No. 1 spot on the Kids Rankings. 

That said, the father-daughter relationship saw a hitch earlier this year when Shelomi ditched Colorado for Alabama A&M’s basketball program. And Deion Sanders called the decision “stupid.” But in an interview with NBC Sport last month, the 20-year-old said, “He is my dad, and he’s also a coach. So, I think that’s why he had a reaction like that. But we handled and discussed things behind closed doors. So, it’s all good now.”

But is it good enough for Shelomi to take the No. 1 spot from her half-sister? Well, it looks like Deiondra will continue to have the edge, at least for the time being.

Deiondra continues to make Deion Sanders feel special

Deiondra Sanders, the No. 1 kid in Coach Prime’s rankings, is living a happy new life with Baby Snow alongside fiancé Jacquees. Family has always been a thing for Deion Sanders, and now his oldest daughter is walking in his step while also paving the same route for her rapper beau. Just a few days ago, the loving family of three spent a memorable date night with Jacquees penning down his blessings in words saying, “I Love my lil family,” to which Deiondra replied, “We love you, too.”

Despite becoming a mother now, Deiondra makes sure she has time to cheer Deion Sanders. And this time, Baby Snow’s presence has added to the excitement. In the Week 3 Rocky Mountain Showdown, she charmed her baby up with a striped onesie featuring the black and gold of the Buffs, along with little socks with the CU Buffs logo. How cute is that? No wonder Deion Sanders picked this pair over Shelomi!
