Sometimes, it’s weird to witness how, almost every time, the Colorado Buffs team surrounds themselves in controversies. However, this time, surprisingly, head coach Deion Sanders saved them from getting into a new one. Shocking, right? Coach Prime dodging disputes—that’s something new. Let’s see what made him do so.
Today, in the episode of the Romi Bean podcast, Deion Sanders and Buffs safety player Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig joined the host for Coach Prime’s Playbook Bite. During their conversation, the host asked Craig about their experience in the rivalry games they played against CSU, to which Craig replied, “It’s awesome. The game last year was an awesome experience. We had a real fight with those guys, and it’s going to be a great rival game. We come to dominate this time. We don’t want to leave it close; we want to just go in there, handle business, and come back.”

Well, that’s not it. When asked by the host what makes a rivalry game special to him, Craig gave a very blunt response, saying, “Hate. Yeah, it’s the hate.” This might have sparked a new controversy, but Coach Prime came as a savior and said, “We don’t hate anybody personally, but we’ve learned to adopt the rivalries here. So we’re adopting what was told to us.”Looks like Deion Sanders wants no controversy this time!

The Colorado Buffs are putting up a noteworthy game, especially after their remarkable game against the UCF Knights. Even Silmon-Craig was a crucial player for the Buffs in that game. During their faceoff, Silmon scored a 95-yard touchdown on a fumble return, which gave Colorado a big edge over the Knights. And it looks like Deion Sanders doesn’t want him to mess this up over a hate controversy. However, Coach Prime has even made his stand clear for his team in the harsh language they use in their games. Let’s see what that is about.

Even after such a high-end performance so far in the ongoing season, the Colorado Buffaloes are getting schooled by head coach Deion Sanders for their ethics while playing the game. As Deion Sanders wants to focus on his team beyond their gameplay, that is how his players speak off the field and what their behavior is. Well, that was a classic Coach Prime move!

During a recent team meeting, Deion Sanders made it clear that his team needed to stop using foul language and had to give respect to other team players and coaches, saying, “Let’s be cognizant of your language on the buses after games and around adults.”
Deion Sanders also added to it, saying, “You guys are letting the profanity loose like the coach is your homie. He’s not your homie. That’s your superior.” Even though this might seem surprising, Deion Sanders made a pretty firm statement. Let’s see how long that continues. For now, we can’t wait to watch them again after their bye week against Kansas State on October 12. A College Game Day without the Buffs isn’t really that exciting.
