Boy, oh boy, did the Aggies make a statement. Going up against the No.9 ranked opponent, no one would’ve thought that the Aggies would come out with such a blowout win. Much of the credit should go to the QB Conner Weigman. This guy was on point. Completing 18 out of 22 passes and covering 276 yards. Conner Weigman’s return to the game was quite surprising. He was marked as a “game-time decision” but managed to make a return and dominate.
So, it ain’t no wonder why HC Mike Elko was quite angry when he got to know the random stuff being written about Weigman and his skills. “Some of the stuff that has been said about this kid and written about this kid, not by you guys. You guys have been great. Is embarrassing, it’s absolutely embarrassing,” Elko noted during the post-game conference. Weigman was out since his appearance against Notre Dame and people had thought that this guy won’t be able to create the required pressure for the Aggies.
“Take some ****ing ownership”

Despite just recovering from a shoulder injury, Weigman managed to create so much pressure for Texas that during the latter half of the game, he was able to relax and stay comfortable without having to think about a Tigers comeback.
Texas defense was also on point. Allowing the Tigers only 68 rushing yards and around 186 passing yards. The No.9 ranked team managed to sneak on only a single touchdown during the 3rd quarter and 1 field goal in the 4th quarter with 8 seconds left on the clock.

“A lot of people right now that need to stand up and recognize what they’ve said over the last three weeks and take some f–king ownership,” Elko noted. This is a fair point. However, can we just sit and talk about what the refs pulled during the game?
Is this even fair?
What’s your perspective on:
Did the Aggies win fair and square, or did the refs hand them the game on a platter?
Have an interesting take?
Fans were screaming on X watching how the refs were giving Aggies free real estate. The most shocking incident happened when Moose Muhammad III directly assaulted a ref and yet no one dished out any punishment for that guy.

Brandon Walker noted on X that, “There’s a distinct possibility Missouri was overrated.” However, fans were quick to point out that the refs had missed out on several counts of penalties and other problems and had given the Aggies the upper hand.
Couldn’t find Elko talking about all of this, though. Regardless, let us know how you felt watching the Aggies squash the Tigers.
