To add to this, they have won every match in the tournament so far with an average difference of 36.83 points. Surprisingly, only three teams so far have given the Gamecocks a run for their money and all were ranked. These are the No. 24 North Carolina, No. 11 Utah, and No. 9 LSU.

Undeniably, South Carolina is making their name known to everyone in the basketball world with their staggering records. 

The Gamecocks’ impeccable Stats

Without a doubt, South Carolina has an outstanding stats sheet this season. The team has an average of 90.8 points, a field goal percentage of 52.6, and 19.9 assists per game. Hence, they have their offensive front pretty sorted for now. At the defensive end, they are unquestionably the moguls in their division. The Gamecocks average 48.6 rebounds, 9.2 steals, and 8.9 blocks per game.

Dawn Staley has transformed the Gamecocks and they are undeniably one of the top teams in the women’s NCAA today. After beating 5 of 6 ranked teams till now and standing undefeated in 18 matches so far, South Carolina is carving their identity in the NCAA circuit.
