Angel Reese sure knows how to set stages on fire. But with Cameron Brink too bringing her game on the Orange carpet tonight, does it mean they just might team up together in the WNBA? Following their antics throughout the Brooklyn tour, fans started dreaming if we could see the two stellar hoopers in the LA Sparks. However, breaking their expectations, the Sparks went with Rickea Jackson instead.
The two have crossed paths before. Recently, they participated in the Women’s College All-Star game. The contest was broadcast by ESPN during the Final Four weekend. Apart from this, the two have a good connection in general. In fact, when the 2024 WNBA draftees visited the Empire State Building before the WNBA draft night, the two were often seen together. Bringing Caitlin Clark into the group, the trio shared some friendly moments before the world of basketball and the need to win takes over them again.
Both the two stellar ladies were showstoppers as everyone wanted to know what they were wearing and how the look came together. Meanwhile, on the internet, the basketball followers were simply wishing that these two should be on the same team. They even thought of the professional team they just might go into.

Sparking the orange carpet, what expectations did Angel Reese x Brink raise?
The two ladies, who shortly after stepping on the orange carpet became complete heartthrobs, had a moment together. Clicking some pictures together and sharing warm wishes, both defensive stars made the basketball world manifest their partnership. For some followers, the mere sharing of the stage for Angel Reese and Cameron Brink became an affair. They suggested, nay, affirmed, that the Los Angeles Sparks would take them tonight.

Another user was just thrilled to look at Brink in the black-and-white cutout dress. Her fashion sense was also confirmed by her accessory choices that added a little oomph to the look. She chose Jimmy Choo x Jean Paul Gaultier Bing 90 chain-embellished mules for the night. The Brink fan said that she is no less than a supermodel on a ramp.

An X user confirmed that although the former Lady Tiger did not make it to the top spots of the draft, she took the limelight here. They also applauded her fashion sense. Fun fact, she threw this look together in just three days.
Angel got style. She may not be top 5 player in this draft. But she definitely has the looks. 👌

One basketball, and apparently a movie fanatic, also drew comparisons between Sophie Turner and Brink. The English actress is popular for her role as Sansa Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones. While there are some similar features if we zoom out, does it really blur the lines?

Another follower ended the conversation saying that they would be waiting to watch the two athletes play as professionals. But they also added a note asking Reese directly about the sales details of her jersey.

The 2024 WNBA drafts have come to an end. Clearly, the Sparks did not go with Angel Reese. Instead, the Los Angeles-based team went with Rickea Jackson, 4th overall, of the Lady Vols as their next pick from the first round. Nevertheless, the very hope of the fans and the enigma of the lotteries is what keeps the event interesting. Fans can still grab the two play against each other as they lock horns with each other on May 31, 2024. What did you think about their drafts?
