A cross-sport couple always gets fans buzzing, right? When it comes to Haley Cavinder and Jake Ferguson, the duo has found their way into the headlines because of their energy and all that public PDA. While fans seem to love the idea of these two supporting each other, the Dallas Cowboys’ recent performance has led to some heated comments, blaming their relationship. But Cavinder isn’t one to just sit back and let the haters have their say.

After sharing a carousel of pictures from a game at AT&T Stadium, where she was cheering Jake on, one fan couldn’t resist firing a shot. “Cowboys have a losing record since y’all started dating…,” they wrote. The hooper hit back with a sharp response: “We were together last year too but go off.”

However, this season has been rough for the Cowboys. With a 5-13 record, it’s safe to say the team isn’t exactly playoff-ready. It’s been a long, painful slide, with key players dropping out one by one since before Week 1. But through it all, Haley and the other significant others have been there, cheering on their partners.

Haley and Jake have been an item since October 2023. You know, in the NFL, love was definitely in the air during the fall of 2023 when we saw Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift making it public. And that’s when Cavinder and Ferguson also made it official. On an episode of Twin Talk, Haley referred to Jake as “Bae Ferguson,” confirming what everyone suspected.

Since then, they’ve both been supporting each other at every game and event whenever possible. But sadly, it hasn’t been translating into wins for the Cowboys. In their most recent game, even with the NFL star from a concussion to start, Dallas still lost 27-20.

No amount of love or cheering seems to be turning the tide for the Cowboys right now. Meanwhile, while her boyfriend’s team might be struggling, Haley is continuing to shine on her own.

What’s your perspective on:

Are the Cowboys' struggles really linked to Ferguson's relationship, or is it just bad luck?

Haley Cavinder & her twin were named to Forbes 30 Under 30

The Cavinder twins made it onto the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 list. However, it was no shocker. They’re not your regular college basketball stars; they’ve turned themselves into an empire. Starting at Fresno State, the twins quickly became well-known names in the sports world. After transferring to Miami, they helped the Hurricanes make history by reaching the Elite Eight in 2023.

But despite their success on the court, the Cavinders decided to step away from basketball in order to focus on their business ventures. But retirement didn’t last long. Haley returned to the court for one last season, and Hanna followed suit.

With over 6.5 million followers across TikTok and Instagram, the baller twins have been managing to turn viral fame into big-time business deals. From partnerships with Under Armour to launching their own cosmetics brand, Hustle Beauty, and even starting a fitness app, TWOgether, they’re everywhere.

They now stand as leaders in the NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) era. But through it all, while Haley is dominating her own world, she hasn’t forgotten to support her beau. Sure, the Cowboys might not be performing well right now, but you can bet that Haley will be there every step of the way. As for the Cowboys, we’ll have to wait and see how they perform in their upcoming game against the Panthers.
