With a towering figure of 7 feet and 4 inches, Edey has managed to grab the attention of the basketball community. According to On3 Elite, Edey’s NIL value currently stands at $812K. However, till earlier this year he wasn’t able to cash out his payments like every other player due to his visa restrictions. But in a recent change of events, he signed a deal with Boilermaker Alliance that would help this Canadian giant earn some money legally.

The Boilermaker Alliance is a team that helps Purdue student-athletes like Zach Edey with the process of earning money through NIL. Since Edey can’t be paid in the US, he’s working with three charities in Canada, where he uses his name and popularity for various activities, promotions, and awareness events that contribute to their causes.

In this partnership, the charities receive increased attention and support, and in exchange it allows Edey to make a positive impact in the community while still benefiting from his NIL in a unique and socially responsible way.

“If you can make it bigger than basketball, you should. So you want to really use your platform that you build from athletics to further your community, that’s really what Boilermaker Alliance is all about. Make it possible and fund it and they really help you do all these things,” Edey said on Boilermaker Alliance NIL Deal.
