Ever since 2013, when Phoenix picked Brittney Griner as their first overall pick, no other draft pick for the Mercurys has turned out to be a mega star in the WNBA. Nonetheless, Brink has all the credentials to make it big at the Western Conference. However, whether or not she’ll end up with Phoenix is still not certain as other teams are also in the race to acquire her services.
As per the latest mock draft, she could be a top choice for the Los Angeles Sparks as well.
More on the draft rumors
The Indiana Fever have won the right to choose the first overall draft pick. It is more than likely that they would want to go for the reigning National Player– Caitlin Clark. As a result, the tussle goes on for the second and the third spot as Brink gives tough competition to the likes of Paige Bueckers and Aaliayah Edwards. The 2021 NCAA champion is among the top three in every WNBA mock draft currently conducted. It will be interesting to witness which player will be headed where in 2024.
