Caitlin Clark is on the verge of creating history. She has only 8 points to score in order to surpass the NCAA women’s basketball leading points scorer- Kelsey Plum. Last time when she took the court, she could not smash any points during the fourth quarter which left her stranded at the second position. However, in the upcoming game against the Michigan Wolverines chances are that the 22-year-old will easily register her name in the record books.

As the scheduled time of 8 pm ET Thursday match gets closer, fans are keen to know the channel where they can watch history being made and also want to get details of the play-by-play reporter during the once-in-a-lifetime moment.

While the game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers was broadcast on ‘FOX’, the current game between the Hawkeyes and Wolverines will be available on the streaming service ‘Peacock’ which is a subsidiary of ‘NBC Universal.’ The duties for live reporting will be handled by Zora Stephenson who has already made a name for herself for voicing the Big Ten women’s college basketball games on the streaming service. Ahead of the exciting clash, Stephenson was all praises for Clark.

“She has captivated America with the way that she plays the game of basketball. There have been so many greats before her, but it is the perfect pinnacle of where the sport is at today, and her game that has just blown up. You have to guard her everywhere and be ready for a track meet because she will always be moving,” Stephenson stated as per USA Today.

Meanwhile, ‘NBC Universal’ had shown the AFC wild-card playoff contest between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins. The game was viewed by almost 23 million people and is regarded as the most viewed event in the US.

The ‘Peacock’ will be expecting another big audience traction even during this outing. To commemorate Clark’s record-making game, the Peacock will also have an alternate feed that will track the Hawkeyes’ stars’ moves.

This game is a chance for ‘Peacock’ to wash away its negative image since the fans weren’t pleased when they had to pay the streaming services to watch the game.

With this historic clash, Peacock can prove to the fans that they have been right in subscribing to their services since the streaming platform is not only home to amazing series and films but is also proactive in getting the best of sports to their audiences. Stephenson also revealed her preparations for the game.

What did Stephenson say?

To mark the celebratory moment, Stephenson hasn’t prepared much for it when she revealed that she will have “No signature call,” rather she will rely on her instincts to dictate the groundbreaking moment. All she said was that “she (Clark) would rather have it on a 3 than a free throw.”
