Many have already put their money on JuJu Watkins breaking Caitlin Clark’s NCAA records right behind her. However, what many wouldn’t know is that there was one record that Clark couldn’t break and perhaps, the 6’2″ guard on the Trojans roster is on a mission to grab it. In her post-match on-court interview Watkins reflected on what it feels like to manifest bringing USC to the NCAA and leading them to Elite Eight in 30 years. She said, “This is the moment I’ve dreamed of. I didn’t think it’d happen so fast, honestly. I’m just glad that I’m able to be a part of this team. It’s so special. It’s just a testament to what can happen if you follow your dreams. So, I’m just here, living proof of that.”
