According to On3’s Industry Ranking, he’s currently ranked as the nation’s No. 80 overall prospect and holds the No. 25 spot among shooting guards in the 2025 cycle. On3, however, rates him slightly higher at No. 72 overall in their On300 ranking.

Before his arrival at Notre Dame, Bryce spent his initial two high school seasons at Sierra Canyon in California, sharing the court with his older brother Bronny. But will King’s progeny pledge his allegiance to USC?

With big brother Bronny’s commitment to the University of Southern California (USC), there’s a fervent buzz about where Bryce will decide to take his talents. To add fuel to the fire, Bryce made an unofficial visit to USC. But let’s not forget that USC isn’t the only suitor vying for the James family’s favor. Oregon and UCLA are also in the running, making the Pac-12 a competitive battleground for Bryce’s collegiate choices.

While the West Coast is looking appealing, traditional powerhouses of college basketball are not to be underestimated. Schools like North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, and Kansas have a storied reputation for attracting top-tier talent. Their allure is undeniable, and they’re keen on not letting Bryce James slip through their fingers. Analysts have begun to whisper in hushed tones about the possibility of Bryce eclipsing his older brother, Bronny. Apart from his visit to USC, Bryce James also made an unofficial college visit to Ohio State University, a stone’s throw away from LeBron’s hometown of Akron. During the visit, the 16-year-old received an offer to play for the Buckeyes. Notably, Bryce isn’t alone in receiving the Buckeyes’ offer. His elder brother had also been courted by Ohio State. In fact, he embarked on an official college visit with none other than LeBron James himself by his side. The Buckeyes remained in his top three choices for months, but ultimately, Bronny chose to call himself a USC Trojan.

As a member of the class of 2025, Bryce has plenty of time to mull over his ideal college program and rest assured, the competition for his commitment will be fierce. However, regardless of the choice that Bryce will make, one thing is clear: LeBron James will remain unwavering in his support. Whether he dons the USC or Ohio State jersey or even opts for the G-League, The King has one singular goal in mind – to share the NBA court with his talented sons.
