Is there anyone in the state of Iowa who doesn’t know Caitlin Clark? Apparently not. The reigning National Player of the Year scripted her name as one of the greatest athletes, if not the greatest, in Iowa’s sporting history. After conquering Pete Maravich’s all-time scoring record, Clark gave its people another reason to celebrate after she led the Hawkeyes to clinch the Big Ten tournament title. However, too much spotlight can be a little overwhelming sometimes. It was evident for the 22-year-old as she used quite an interesting tactic to avoid the public eye.

The Iowa men’s basketball team recently hosted the Illinois Fighting Illini in their final conference game of the season. After a valiant effort, the Hawkeyes couldn’t produce the desired result and lost 61-73. Anyhow, their loss wasn’t the only talking point of the game. The fixture was paid a special visit by Caitlin Clark. As it turns out, the 6 ft guard was in attendance at the Carver–Hawkeye Arena to extend her support for the boys. Although, she made sure that no one spotted her.

According to a recent video by ‘espnw‘, Clark adopted an incognito mode which helped her sneak past the huge crowd present for the occasion. She was in an all-black outfit from top to bottom, along with a cap. Moreover, she kept her anonymity by not letting her hood down the entire time. Clearly, her new look worked, as she was able to roam through her home crowd unnoticed.
