Born to Kevin and Meridith Ross, in January 2004, Madeleine grew up in Bristol, Connecticut alongside her sister, Kathryn Ross, who played volleyball in high school. On the other hand, Madeleine was interested in multiple sports, such as lacrosse and soccer.

In high school, Ross served as the captain of the varsity soccer team for four years while she also played on the school’s lacrosse team for three years. However, her talents weren’t limited to sports as she was additionally a member of the National Honor Society and the Italian National Honor Society as well. These memberships provided the opportunity to travel to Italy at the time.

She graduated from Bristol Central in 2022 and was later inducted into the Bristol Sports Hall of Fame. Moreover, she received several honors and letters. Currently, she is in her sophomore year at the University of Connecticut and will be graduating in 2026.

Besides all that, Madeleine is a popular social media influencer having more than 5k followers on Instagram. Both Clingan and Ross have been open about their relationship as they regularly share photos and messages about each other on social media. What’s more interesting is that both are extremely supportive of each other’s pursuits and are often around on the sidelines when one of them is at the center stage.

It has been more than 4 years since they met but they make time for each other despite their busy schedules. One of the factors bringing the two close is possibly their shared love for sports as they don’t mind spending time around those avenues as well. Both Clingan and Ross stay dedicated to their relationship as they take off together to different getaways whenever they can.

Donovan Clingan and Madeleine Ross make each other stronger and better every day, keeping the tides high while getting through everything together. Now, in the coming days, this strength will most certainly be needed for Clingan as he is projecting towards a new chapter in his basketball career.

Clingan’s NBA projection

The 2024 NBA draft is less than 2 weeks away. According to the reports of the 2024 Mock Draft, Cliangan is projected to be the No.2 overall pick by the Washington Wizards. The 2x national championship winner has the strong ability to alter the course of a game when it comes to posing a firm defense. Similarly, Clingan’s shot-blocking prowess goes beyond his massive 7-foot frame, given his flexible wingspan. However, he favors staying vertical given his height, he can easily be called for fouls. On the other end, Clingan keeps things simple.

However, he does have some weak spots as well. Despite posing a stellar defense, Clingan lacks versatility which is an essential factor to play in the pro league. He also faces difficulties on defense during pick-and-roll actions. In addition, the UConn Huskies star’s shooting is not that good and he scores mostly from inside the paint.
