The Iowa Hawkeyes clashed with the Colorado Buffaloes at the Times Union Center. One player apart from the Hawkeyes Caitlin Clark that caught the fancy of many was the Colorado’s center Aaronette Vonleh. Vonleh has maintained a low profile compared to her competitors but she has been the alpha for her team. Vonleh has played the role of a dominant center for the Buffaloes, potting an average of 14 points per game with 5.2 rebounds per match.
Though she has been surpassed by forward Quay Miller in terms of rebounds, nonetheless her contribution cannot be ignored. Her parents could always hear her name dominating the basketball courts when she was in West Linn High school as per Buffzone. Her grandmother would often be accompanied by her mother and sister and the three would watch Vonleh’s explosive games.
