In a recent episode of The Field Of 68: After Dark, John Martin, Matt McCall, and John Henson sat down to discuss the potential comeback of Bronny. During the interview, Martin asked coach McCall how a coach can navigate a situation like this, where a player, due to his famous father, faces high expectations from the world while also considering the player’s health.
In his response, McCall said, “It’s a challenge just in terms of Andy Enfield too because he got a good team and bringing Bronny on, kind of inching him into the lineup, however, that looks, however, that works…….. If for some reason they are not having success that’s gonna be a challenge to deal with all of that and that’s something as coach he’s (Andy Enfield) going to have to manage”
Further in the conversation, Martin asked John Henson what it looks like from a player’s perspective, when Bronny joins the team, to which he said, “I think his teammates probably love him. The style of his game, it’s hard not to like him as a teammate, he’s a pass-first guy, he can shoot the three, he’s a team-first guy. So I think he’s gonna mesh well.”
