There is no stopping Iowa Hawkeyes’ Caitlin Clark. Having recently surpassed NCAA icon Kelsey Plum by 49 points, the Des Moines native became the all-time leading scorer in NCAA women’s basketball. Ticket prices had already soared to watch the stupendous Clark in action, and now that she is closer to making another record, fans are all the more keen to watch her next game.
Clark now has 3,650 career points and is only 18 points away from surpassing the NCAA legend Pete Maravich, who smoked an astounding 3,667 points in his three years with the Louisiana State University Tigers (from 1967 to 1970). Considering Clark might declare for the WNBA 2024, the next game might be the last chance for many to watch her during the regular season.
Another thing that adds up to the demand is the record she is just shy of breaking. Combining these two factors, the next game becomes one of the most anticipated games in Clark’s and also the regular season of the NCAA.

Last year, Clark’s exploits helped her team reach the Finals of the Championship and it remains to be seen if she can repeat her heroics. And this time, perhaps, come back with the woodenware. Fans, meanwhile, don’t want to miss the opportunity to watch Caitlin Clark at home; potentially for the last time, on a night that would likely see her make history.
