Having a special place in heart for her little fans, Clark continues to redefine what it means to be a sports icon. Beyond her remarkable basketball prowess, her ability to connect with her fans has become a key aspect of her career. Her 13th triple-double may be a testament to her dominating skills, but it was her post-game action that grabbed the attention of fans all over the world.

After securing a sweet victory over the Ramblers, Clark signed her game-worn reverse grinches and handed the sneakers to Norah, a 10-year-old fan in the stands who was dressed as Clark. While these may be just a pair of sneakers for many, they became a priceless gift for the fan, creating a memory that will undoubtedly last a lifetime.

Even the Iowa Hawkeyes insider for 247 Sports and CBS Sports, David Eickholt appreciated this gesture by Clark as he posted this moment on his Twitter page. With a photo of the fan, he wrote, “The happiest kid in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Game-worn Reverse Grinches signed by Caitlin Clark. ‘Happy Holidays! Caitlin Clark #22’,” and Norah was definitely the happiest kid in that arena.

Notably, Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes are having one of the best seasons in the 2023-24 NCAA tournament.

How have they performed so far?

The Iowa Hawkeyes Ladies started the ongoing season with a tremendous win over the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights. Following this match the Hawkeyes won three back-to-back matches before a turning point came for them against Kansas State. In a highly anticipated matchup between the Hawkeyes and the Wildcats, Clark and her team lost their first match of the season, which was also marked as the worst shooting night of Clark’s career. But, being one of the best teams in the league they learned from their mistakes and made a comeback. Since that, they haven’t lost a single match out of the twelve matches they have played.
