The bond between DJ Rodman and Bronny James is simply adorable. An instance of it was witnessed by fans in a recent social media encounter where the USC stars exchanged a friendly banter that sparked smiles despite Bronny’s poor performances.
Three days after James Jr. disclosed the next phase of his basketball career, Rodman made the news. The son of Dennis Rodman joined King James’ elder one at USC for the next season after logging onto the transfer site. After four years at Washington State, Rodman said he would be playing his final season with the Trojans.

USC is assembling a formidable squad, led by Bronny James. Isaiah Collier, the top prospect in the 2023 class, demonstrated the strength of the squad. Additionally, Aaron Bradshaw, a five-star prospect handled by Klutch Sports, is connected to the Trojans. And now, DJ Rodman is another addition in the super team.

The 6-foot-6-inch big boy started 30 of the 31 games for the Cougars last season, averaging 9.6 points and 5.8 rebounds. Rodman received a communications degree from Washington State.
He plans to play for the Trojans, who are located closer to his hometown of Newport Beach, by making use of an NCAA provision that grants an additional year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 epidemic. He shares a good friendship with Bronny James.

In a recent social media post, Rodman posted an array of pictures, one including Bronny James. He wrote, “I don’t know what they tell you (they don’t know me),” to which Bronny replied, “Brotherrr!” This solidifies the friendship shared between two-star kids.
Bronny James’ comeback

Early in the second half of his recent match, USC’s lead had been trimmed to 43-29 when Bronny James joined the game. In less than a minute, he scored his first point with a 3-pointer from the right corner, but not before displaying greater emotion and arguing that he had been fouled.
His 17 minutes and 32 seconds of play were a season-best. After scoring nine points and making just one 3-pointer in his opening two games—losses to Auburn and Long Beach State—James’ recovery has been a slow one.
