JuJu Watkins’ is quite a name in the college basketball circuit. However, the young star’s fame didn’t work when she found a parking ticket waiting for her recently. In what was not Watkins’ luckiest day with the said penalty, she still shared the moment with her fans. And that’s not all, as along with the ticket, she earned something extra as well.
The 19-year-old Watkins couldn’t help but share her not-so-lucky moment with her fans. She posted a picture of her car with a parking ticket stuck right on the windshield. Watkins wrote on her Instagram story, “parking ticket and a heart. so lucky td”. Someone even drew a heart on the windshield, probably displaying their dust art finesse. This further reminded Watkins that the car might need some cleaning as she admitted, “ik i need a car wash”.

With a combined social media following of 555,000 and an On3 valuation of $200,000 as of March 2024, she’s making waves both on and off the court.
Regarded as the next Caitlin Clark by few experts, Watkins has racked up sponsorship deals with a lineup of major brands, including Nike, Wells Fargo, Celsius, Ritz, and SpringHill. She also became the first-ever female athlete to sign with Klutch Sports for NIL representation.
But, that’s not all to this young star. Watkins has also kept herself close to social services as she has volunteered on behalf of the Watts Labor Community Action Committee and Shoes for Soul. She even set up a few toy donation drives, a food bank, and youth basketball camps.
