Basketball player MiLaysia Fulwiley is a gifted athlete who has won four state titles and was recognized as the SCBCA Player of the Year. She maintains her privacy in her personal life despite her achievements. However, she disclosed that her high school basketball talents had made her teammates fear her.
In a throwback interview, the anchor posed a question to Fulwiley about the defenders she faced: are they scared of her? To which Fulwiley replied, “Most of the time, they’re scared, like most of the time.” She is one of the most terrific freshmen who has already crossed 1,000 points before entering collegiate basketball.
Fulwiley practiced and imitated WNBA players Sue Bird, A’ja Wilson, and Courtney Williams’ movements for hours. At Kenan, Fulwiley amassed over 2,000 points in his junior year. She scored 29.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 4.6 steals per game in 2021–2022, leading the Raiders in scoring. This is something Fulwiley has been doing since primary school.
