Ever since college athletes were compensated for their name, image and likeness, the landscape of NCAA has changed for good. Not only has it been able to provide young athletes with a source of income, but it has also changed how companies view them today. This particular ruling which took effect on July 1st, 2021, has changed the outlook with athletes being dubbed as athleprenuers for being able to earn while they play. With athletes being the greatest beneficiaries of this particular ruling, it was only about time that some of the biggest sporting companies came calling.

This has certainly been the case recently after Stephen Curry’s godsister used her NIL deal to strike up an agreement with a $9.95 billion company. This particular deal also sees her join tennis superstar Coco Gauff with the two being the only females to represent their respective sports for this brand.

Stanford Cardinal star Cameron Brink recently made all the noise as she signed a NIL deal with sport conglomerate New Balance. Known fondly as the godsister of Golden State Warriors icon Stephen Curry, Brink surely seems to have all the talent and star power of her godbrother.

A historical feat, this agreement saw Cameron become the first female basketballer to represent the brand as the former NCAA champion looks to cement herself in the sporting world. This deal will see her tie up with New Balance for both lifestyle and performance campaigns with the 21-year-old set to work with the design team as well for future products.

Cameron Brink’s recent decision saw her join Coco Gauff in becoming one of the few women athletes to be sponsored by New Balance. The tennis star has been with the company ever since she was 14 and Cameron looks to be following in similar footsteps.
