Angel Reese’s former teammate, Flau’jae Johnson recently engaged in an interesting conversation on the HOT 97 show. Confident of her rising musical career alongside basketball, she made some intriguing admissions. One of which was on the NBA legend, Shaquille O’Neal.
As the conversation began, the host asked Johnson about the best rapping basketball player before her. To this, Flau’jae responds candidly saying, “I don’t know cuz none of them can’t go bar for bar with me so I, I’m not sure I know I know I know Master P played in the NBA,” pointing out her on and off court excellence, while also acknowledging rapper, Master P’s brief association with the NBA.
Then, Johnson also mentioned Shaq having a platinum music record saying, “Shaq had a platinum record, right? And he had a song with Biggie, but Shaq can’t go bar for bar with me. Like realistic questions, but that he was the most dominant in the game you see what I’m saying like he was the most dominant he’s probably the most dominant player ever to play the game, but musically,” however, she states Shaq cannot catch up to her musical pace, despite him being one of the most dominant players in the history of NBA.
Keeping the ball rolling, Flau’jae Johnson then sheds some light on her favorite rapper, who isn’t a good baller, saying, “J. Cole, that’s my favorite rapper of all time, but he can’t ball,” cracking up the hosts with her hilarious take.
So, one of the hosts gets to a conclusion as he puts it, “so you’re saying when it when you add up the total score no one’s higher than you at the total score is what you’re saying,” while the other host can’t help herself from blasting with laughs and says, “I love this!”
While Flau’jae Johnson’s take is an equivalent to a hysterical firecracker, things might come down to a rap battle, if Shaq decides to respond to it. If that happens, it is going to be an entertaining sight for sore eyes. Now, it is common knowledge about Shaq’s on-court career. However, many still haven’t vibed to the beats produced by him under the monicker, DJ Diesel.
